The appearance of kinesin, the motor protein that transports substances inside cells, is so cute.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
This video is a computer-generated 3D animation of kinesin (based on structural data), not real footage or its actual microscopic appearance. easternblot.net/2016/02/12/ima… en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Inner… artofthecell.com/well-you-can-t…

“You don’t usually eat bread at this house right?” And I explained why we don’t. Then apparently what she meant was “Do you have some bread for me?” DAMNIT JUST SAY IT

🇪🇺 Chat Control has passed 😔 They can and will now legally scan any person's messages, emails and photos you send without a warrant The way they passed this law when the majority of the European Parliament was against it will shock you: They waited until most EP members were on holiday so only a few were present and then created an "urgent" vote for it to pass it through There's nothing democratic about any of it and big powerful forces are behind this that can manipulate the EU for whatever they want Democracy in Europe died a bit today 😔

claude cowork is making me think maybe we’ll look back and it’ll be obvious that humans were never meant to spend their lives working behind a screen. we’ll see it as inevitable that computers do everything for us on computers and the future of work is cooler than we can imagine

Telling kids to sit still doesn’t build discipline. It stifles imagination. Evidence: When students are given freedom to fidget and wiggle in their seats, they pay just as much attention—and generate more creative ideas. Physical activity unlocks mental agility.

A friend of mine reached out who liked the idea, so I added a few more things and I'm publishing it. For a given week, you can create time blocks associated to "themes" (e.g. Work, Personal, Sleep) and sub-themes. The idea is to consciously MAKE TIME for the things you want
How do ya'll time-block a week ahead? I like to have a sense of how I want to structure my time, e.g. make time for workout, sleep, deep work, etc. The "make time" is important since you don't have unlimited hours. You either make time or spend time (unconsciously).

¡Hey!
