Interviewer: Wayne, Arsenal travel to Anfield today. Do you believe they have what it takes to beat Liverpool and prove they are serious Premier League title contenders?
Wayne Rooney: “No, I’m not convinced. In fact, I’m predicting Liverpool to win 2-1.
Arsenal have a very good squad, there’s no question about that, but I still don’t see a team that has fully convinced me they are ready to win the Premier League. Every season, we hear the same conversations about how this is their year, how Arteta has built a title-winning team and how they’re ready to take that final step. But at some point, you have to stop talking and deliver.
Anfield is not an easy place to go, and Liverpool will not be intimidated by Arsenal’s reputation. They’ll test them physically, put them under pressure and force them to defend. That’s where I want to see Arsenal’s mentality.
My biggest question is whether Arsenal can handle a proper title race when the pressure starts building. You cannot expect to win the Premier League by simply beating the teams you’re supposed to beat. You have to go to places like Anfield and prove you belong at the top.
And I think some Arsenal fans have become too comfortable celebrating potential. Potential doesn’t win trophies. Your performances in these massive games do.
My prediction is Liverpool 2-1 Arsenal. I think Liverpool will expose Arsenal’s weaknesses, and if that happens, the title contenders conversation will become very uncomfortable for Arteta and his players.
Arsenal fans might disagree with me, but until they prove otherwise, I’m not putting them in the same conversation as teams that know how to win the biggest trophies.”

The Idea of appointing new prospect coach who knows nothing about the club like the likes of ETH and AMORIN doesnt sit right with me..
If top coaches are not attainable (Inzaghi and Lucho) Carrick is the only way..

🎙️ Joël Matip: “Araújo is an incredible defender. He has the strength, aggression and confidence to compete against any striker in the world. But there is one thing I would be concerned about.
“Sometimes, he gets too carried away with the physical side of defending. He wants to win every duel, make every tackle and prove that nobody can get past him. I understand that mentality, but defending at Liverpool requires more than aggression.

🎙️ Joël Matip: “I would tell him to learn when to attack the ball and when to stay patient. You don't have to win every battle with your body. Sometimes, the best defending is simply knowing where to position yourself.
