Nimekasirika sai sitaki hata mtu karibu! The world watched this unfold and knew the treason case was a sham. Today, they acquit Tundu Lissu only to manufacture another offence to keep him behind bars. What a fucking banana republic! What kind of fucking country operates like this
The Court has clearly said:"On the evidence available, the prosecution has failed to prove that Tundu Lissu intended to commit treason." Why are they now pulling a minor incitement crime. How far is this court willing to go just to kiss the zanzibari queen bee butcher's ass? Wtf!

On issue two, the Court found that Tundu Lissu's statements did not amount to an intention to threaten the Executive, which would constitute treason.

Coming to court to hear the verdict in your loved one's treason case is an immense emotional burden. Even when you have faith, your heart still races with uncertainty. We pray that Lissu family finds strength and peace today.

🎥: Crowds gathered outside the High Court in Masijala, Dar es Salaam, at midnight on Friday, November 6, 2026, ahead of the highly anticipated verdict in the treason case against Chadema National Chairman Tundu Lissu, who has been in detention for more than 18 months.
Lissu was arrested on April 9, 2025, following a political rally at which he called for electoral reforms ahead of Tanzania's 2025 General Election.
