🚨Good people of California : Fosters Critically Needed so rescues can tag these 6 beautiful dogs tonight.
All 6 are due to be 💉 tomorrow morning , 10/28 at 6:30 am PT , at Stanislaus Animal Services Agency , in Modesto , CA‼️
Can you Foster ⁉️ Fostering is Free through a rescue.
If so, please say so, in the comments so we can try to find a rescue to tag them.
I will put their shelter notes in the comments.
Please Share to find their Heroes🙏
#CA #FostersUrgentlyNeeded
No one came for these 6 dogs…Stanislaus Animal Services Agency in Modesto, CA plans to 💉them first thing in the morning (Wednesday 10/28 at 6:30 a.m.)! 😳
Can anyone save them?🙏
This “shelter” says there is no space and there will be no extensions.
Only way to save them now is if a rescue tags them before 6 a.m.🙏
Most rescues cannot tag without a foster lined up…can anyone in CA foster?
Out of state adoptions are also possible through a rescue.

The cost to the gas companies of scrapping the standing charge will be met by increasing the unit price, says Martin Lewis.
60% of households will save £40 a year, with high usage customers saving less than that. A bit less regressive tho.
We still pay, one way or another.

We’ve bade a very sad farewell to our beloved Charlie. Diagnosed with “a very large heart” when young. Not half! A bringer of joy and smiles. 9 and a half years of wonderful memories. Tail wagging til very end. Absolute gem. Walks will never be same. Rest easy Charlie man. 💔🎾🐾

Energy companies and oil companies are making insane profits and yet we will swallow another 27% increase in our energy bills and never ending increases at the pumps to pay for US imperialism because too many Brits buy the bullshit and bellyache about benefits and small boats.

We've gone from 'We'll save you £300 per year on energy' to 'You'll still be able to heat your house if you sell your children.'
Dontcha love @UKLabour?

Imagine having a working majority of 167 in the House of Commons and the best you can do is a marginal reduction in the cost of marmalade and gherkins.
They're laughing at us.

Young people, pensioners, the sick and disabled...Labour targets them all.
Labour now briefing young people won't get the same minimum wage uplift.
Even Starmer didn't break this pledge. Workers rights mean same rights, pay & conditions, same rate for the same job.
What does this Labour government have against young people?

While the announcement that standing charges will be removed from gas bills is very welcome, standing charges need to be removed from electricity bills too. Not everyone has mains gas, especially in rural areas

The social care system exploits families knowing they won’t abandon those they love
Carer’s Allowance requires 35+ hours min a wk. No max hrs. No guaranteed rest
1 in 3 carers provide 100+ hrs a wk
Government knows. Social care knows. Charities know
Why aren’t they outraged?

🚨 Last call for 2-y/o Nova, now under kill command. Just 20 lb, Nova is completely shut down at ACC, too scared to walk on her own. Surrendered last week b/c bit a toe, left a mark. Crate-trained, playful, independent, protective, spayed. Earned 2nd best behavior rating. Loves car rides.

Exactly. The scandal isn’t that someone gets £650 in benefits. It’s that someone can work 40 hours and still struggle to live. Nearly 40% of UC claimants are already in work. Low pay and high housing costs are the problem — benefits are picking up the slack.

Carers Allowance translates to 51 pence per hour of work. The UKGov are now changing the 'Cliff Edge' rules in 2030 so that any earnings over the allowance are taxed at 100% so why are people celebrating? It's a f*cking Insult. Unpaid carers save the UK Gov £184 billion a year.

🐾🍼 Meet scared 6 month old puppy Cranberry
ID #A2102728
6-month-old female Rottweiler mix
Brown/Black
Weight: 42 lbs
Intake Date: 10/25/2026
Status: Rescue only
⸻
🩺 Medical Notes:
* Heartworm LOW POSITIVE at intake. Veterinary follow-up and confirmatory testing are recommended, particularly given her young age.
* Received routine vaccinations, deworming, and parasite prevention.
* No additional medical concerns documented.
⸻
🐾Behavior Notes:
Cranberry is extremely fearful in the shelter environment.
October 26: Staff observed a tense body, whale eyes, and freezing when leashed. She remained almost motionless in her kennel.
October 27: Cranberry continued showing intense fear. Staff carried her out of the kennel, but she began defecating and pulling backward on the leash. She was placed in another kennel nearby.
Cranberry is clearly overwhelmed and struggling to cope.
She needs a quiet, experienced rescue environment, gentle handling, and time to decompress and build trust at her own pace.
