We had the honor of speaking to parents and educators at a beautiful school this week, fielding questions and sharing tools on how to help boys grow into happy, healthy men. So grateful to get to do this work. @mrhealthteacher

This is the Christianity my parents taught me.

Adam Hamilton on transgender rights:
“I don’t think we should take a small group of people and bully them, pick on them, and hurt them. I understand one thing really clearly when it comes to transgender people, and that is Jesus told me I was to love my neighbor as I love myself.”
“I’m gonna love the trans person as well as the straight person, male or female. We have to do better than picking on small groups. What’s happened is we’ve turned a group of people into a campaign issue because it polls well.”
This is some wild Jim Baker stuff here.

100% agree. And yet Josh Howerton at Lakepointe incorrectly claims if we don’t give our first 10% to the local church we’re stealing from God and then God cannot bless us financially.
A beautiful abuse prevention video from First 5 California directed at dads ... really lovely. I hope it's getting into enough feeds on social media.

As a former Christian nationalist, here are some common phrases that are dog whistles for CN:
"Christian nationalism is a made-up term.."
"Vote for Biblical values"
"Christians can't vote Democrat"
"America was founded as a Christian nation"
Demonizing empathy
Josh Howerton blocked me a long time ago for disagreeing on this, but he's absolutely wrong.
The religious right & "moral majority" started braiding Republicanism and Christianity together in the 1970s and peaked in the 90s.
IDK why he's trying to rewrite history.
I can only guess he A) wasn't raised Evangelical in a traditional USA 20th century setting and/or B) He's discovered he can get people to join him in both his church (they have a $200 million donation drive) and in politics by convincing them he's doing a faith-based revolution.
I thought digital textbooks would be amazing for my college -aged sons but it just means you can no longer buy used textbooks for cheap and the digital access costs $156 with no ability to resell to make a little back. :|

can't decide if I want to know everything about this or if I already know too much.
Last month, former ‘Good Morning America’ hosts Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes got married. Now their ex-spouses are engaged to each other. thecut.com/article/andrew-sh…

🧵 The entire premise of the accusation that Christians in America "punch Right and coddle Left" is terminally flawed and reveals a lot about the worldly perspective behind it. Here's the problem:

What kind of fuck ass country has multi generational school shooting survivor families

Women are POWERFUL.
A teacher threw her phone at the teenage gunman who killed four people at an Oregon elementary school, then tackled and fought with him, likely saving lives before he was shot by a father who followed him into the building.

Hi! I'm done posting on this app unless it makes sense for the platform.
The number of duplicate replies including degrading language and outright lies make this app truly un-useable.
I miss when Twitter was annoying but not totally impossible for anyone other than Republicans
This is the only app where the algo isn't restrictive, so I get to see a diversity of opinions. That's why I liked it.
I used to like hearing from people who were different from me.
But the goal of this app now is to ratio others and it's exhausting.
Real uestion: Why aren't there more men-only gyms?
It seems like there are enough guys in the world, including Shane Gillis, who feel totally unprepared to handle women in skimpy shorts.
Real qQ: Why aren't there more men-only gyms?ully, let's get them out of there, right?
Also yes I know that in some places it's illegal to have single-sex spaces but I am shocked a private business with a membership model cannot do it.
You also can't have women's only gyms in those jurisdictions. I understand the civil rights reason but it sure would feel safer.
