This one's a little harder to share. I love building, more than is healthy, and I learnt that the hard way. I've lost a lot of myself in the process, and I'm slowly finding my way back. I wanted to share that part of my journey too, not just the wins.

What if someone emails your agent and tells it to ignore everything you said?
Today I’m launching molted.email 🥳

I think we've got the whole X growth strategy backwards.
I've had 3 conversations in the replies today that gave me better post ideas than anything I sat down to write.
We're constantly told to reply to grow our followers.
But I think we're missing the bigger picture.
A reply sparks an idea.
That becomes a post.
That post sparks more conversations.
And the cycle continues.
Maybe we've been looking at replies all wrong.
Stop replying just to grow your audience. Start replying because your audience might actually teach you something.

Something I don't say out loud very often.
TheCozyDev hasn't made me any money yet.
Not from the apps.
Not from the kit I made for other devs.
Nothing so far.
I build after my 9–5 because I love it.
But some evenings I sit down and the little voice says,
"what if nobody actually wants this?"
This week I nearly started three new ideas, hoping one of them would be the one that finally did something other than just exist.
Then I stopped.
I'm going back to the apps I already have and one new app that means a lot to me personally.
I don't have a success story to share yet.
Just a real one.
If you're building something and it hasn't paid off yet, you're not behind. You're just still in the middle 💜

Yesterday I was questioning whether I could finish wumbl. Today I gave it a smaller finish line.
Since 4pm:
🟢Agreed a clear Mac V1 scope and parked the extras.
🟢Improved game-save recovery and accessibility.
🟢Cleared compiler warnings, with successful builds and 581 passing unit tests.
🟢Checked sound, image exports, focus sessions and what survives closing and reopening the app.
🟢Audited the existing 80-page Ship Your App Kit and mapped out its next additions.
🟢Created two App Review checklists, including a free version.
Wumbl still has testing ahead, but I can see a path towards releasing it now.
Thank you to everyone who reminded me yesterday that I don’t have to ship the whole vision at once. I needed that more than I realised 💜

Can I be honest with you tonight, Tech-Family?
I've been sitting with this one for a while.
I think I'm in over my head with wumbl.
When I started, it was a small idea. A calm little corner of the Mac. Then it grew. Spaces. A sound mixer. Focus sessions. Files. Pocket. Saved desks. Games. A tiny computer friend who needs to feel alive.
Some nights I sit down and I genuinely don't know where to start. Every part needs something. Every fix uncovers two more. I look at how much is still left and quietly wonder if I'm actually capable of finishing it.
Tonight I needed a break from it. I didn't want one, I needed one. That feels a bit scary to admit about the thing I care about most.
I've shipped apps before. I know I can do hard things.
But this is the first time I've built something this big, and some days the gap between what I picture and what I can make feels huge.
I'm not giving up on it. I don't think I could.
I'm just being honest that right now, it feels bigger than me.

I was convinced as a kid we would have proper hoverboards by now.
We have computers on our wrists, but that tech still hasn't happened.
My fear is they'll invent them when I'm 70 and I'll look like a right idiot on one.
What childhood tech are you still waiting on?

Good morning Tech-Family ☕️ and what a morning it’s shaping up to be.
4,000 people.
I genuinely don’t know how that happened, but here’s what 4,000 followers has taught me.
You don’t need to pretend you’ve got everything figured out to build something meaningful.
You just need to show up, be yourself, and keep going.
Thank you for making this little corner of the internet feel like somewhere I belong 💜

Something that's been bothering me about X lately.
I keep seeing the same engagement bait posts getting thousands of views and hundreds of replies, while people who actually put some thought into their posts barely get noticed.
You know the ones.
"What's stopping your X account from growing?"
"Are you the main character of X?"
"Why does Codex look elite while Claude looks basic?"
And somehow these posts absolutely take off.
Meanwhile, someone shares an interesting experience, writes about something they've learned, or puts actual effort into a post, and it gets almost no attention.
What makes it even more frustrating is how much of this content is recycled. I regularly see essentially the same post from multiple accounts, sometimes on the same day, just worded slightly differently.
Wasn't x supposed to reward original content?
Because from what I'm seeing, it feels like the opposite.
And look, I get it. Engagement matters, and we're all trying to grow our accounts. I'm no exception.
But it's a bit discouraging when the content that seems to perform best is also the content that requires the least amount of thought.
Maybe I'm just looking at it the wrong way, but I'd much rather read something someone genuinely has to say than the same recycled question for the twentieth time.
Is it just my timeline? or is this the same for you too

Can we give a little appreciation to companies making life easier for indie developers?
I've recently been working with @hypiva to help promote Lumarii, and the experience has been fantastic.
Here's literally everything I had to do:
Send them a few screenshots of my app.
That's it.
They created the content, handled the TikTok posting and took the entire process off my hands. When you're building multiple projects around a full-time job, having someone take care of the marketing side is genuinely invaluable. No complicated process. No endless back and forth. Just people doing what they said they'd do.
Massive shoutout to hypiva.com for making one part of indie development feel a whole lot easier.
Sometimes the best tools and services aren't the ones that help you do more. They're the ones that give you some of your time back.
27 people. €280. One espresso machine. For a creator in Sweden ☕
@moonfarm_dev's board: 27 beans sold, 73 still up for grabs.
This isn't just about coffee. It's marketing that does good: your brand on the board, a creator gets a machine.

First proper look at Scootch! 👀
I've put together this demo video showing the very basics for Scootch:
pairing a Windows PC and a Linux laptop,
and hopping between them. 🪟👉🐧
There's much more to it than that though!
Mac works too btw 😉
Please let me know what you think.
(It's also the first time I've put myself on camera,
so go easy on me! I had a drastic haircut recently😅 )
