if you’ve been fired, doxxed, or reprimanded by an employer for opposing the ongoing genocide in gaza, you’re not alone. but you don’t have to compromise to find a job. i write a newsletter called A Different World w/ jobs, gigs, & internships where you don’t have to sacrifice.
the fact that Darializa Avila Chevalier got arrested on campus for supporting Palestine during the encampment & now she'll be representing @columbia's district in congress. from @ColumbiaSJP to Congress, she is AIPAC's worst nightmare.

Israel firsters’ postmortem: “we lost because of antisemitism. We didn’t call enough people antisemitic often enough.”

The question on university campuses should now be how to get rid of all the administrators who caved to and collaborated with a grossly unpopular political agenda, including curricular changes, reversals on diversity mandates, buying into AI hype, clamping down on Gaza protests…
Sweet, beautiful poetic justice
NC A&T could determine Rep. Virginia Foxx's fate.
The last two precincts to report election results in Guilford County include the one at NC A&T's Frye Hall and one at Brown Recreation Center.
Foxx leads Chuck Hubbard by only 398 votes with those two precincts remaining. They haven't posted any results yet today. Not sure what the deal is with them.

Unless you grew up taking Myrtle Beach vacations you have NO idea how much it takes to make South Carolina flip

The Democrats have won back Congress, but that alone tells us little about what will change for Palestinians.
The real test is whether they will use their power to challenge US military support for Israel, or simply oppose Trump while preserving the policies they claim to reject.

First Gaza asks from a blue Congress:
Investigate Trump’s Board of Peace for possible corruption, conflict of interest & genocide complicity
Ban settlement products
Ban D9 bulldozers to Israel (main weapon of genocide)
Recognize Palestine
Press for Marwan Barghouti’s release

Dems must now be forced to actually make stuff like this happen. They won’t do it without organized masses of people forcing them to.

everyone hates on the south because they’re red but don’t take the time to realize the south is red because we are constantly gerrymandered and they make it impossible for minorities— ESPECIALLY POC— to vote, in rural areas most polling places are inaccessible

I’m glad you asked: Former Democratic Governors like Robert Scott, Terry Sanford, and Jim Hunt were instrumental in creating and expanding a public university system in North Carolina that regardless of where you are geographically, you have a public university near you! 🤠🫶

A black woman who's a community organizer and spent almost no money is now favored to beat the former NC Speaker of the House in a district *he specifically had drawn for himself*. Absolute scenes

I cannot stand the DNC. I’ll never forgive the party’s near-uniform embrace of the evisceration of civil liberties during Covid. I’ll never forgive the leaders’ facilitation of the Gaza genocide or the excuses made by their minions. I have more complaints too, but I’ll save those for later.
Nevertheless, it’s gratifying to see Israel- first and the openly bigoted GOP suffer catastrophic losses tonight. That’s what this election is a referendum on. Sell out your people for a foreign nation, and they’ll vote for the other side.
Demonizing Muslims to deflect from the disaster that is the Iran war didn’t work. Thank God for that
i’m happy that pro palestine candidates are winning their races, you shouldn’t hold public office if you support genocide. but i hope that people don’t see this as the end all be all. elected officials work for the people & we have to hold them accountable.
