I sat across from Cassidy Hutchinson when she testified. Trumpโs DOJ tried to indict her for it. But last night we found out a grand jury wouldnโt even let them bring the case.
In 2022 she told the country Trump knew his crowd was armed and wanted the metal detectors taken down. She told us he wanted to go to the Capitol with them and lunged for the steering wheel when the Secret Service said no.
Trumpโs allies have called her a liar ever since. Now a DOJ lawyer has admitted to a judge that the grand jury rejected the indictment. They say a grand jury will indict a ham sandwich. This one wouldnโt touch her.
She threw away her career to tell the truth. I believed her then and I still do.
