Exactly. Light-skinned, redbone, yellow that’s for FBA. Stop letting ppl co-opt out shit. Ain’t even engaging in the convo if they aren’t referring to strictly colorism.
I keep seeing people call Cardi lightskin but she’s a non-black Latina. Neither of her parents are Black or African. Early in her career she said in an interview “I like to date black men bc I like to date outside my race” please stop insulting my intelligence.

Tamia and vocal prowess…. Strange bedfellows
I don’t think yall realize this is like Cassie covering Chaka Khan. The vocal prowess is just not there.

Nicki’s domination of the female rap market iced out music execs who desperately wanted in on that market-but she was impenetrable for years. Cardi was the tool willing to be used to break up Nicki’s market control. She benefited from, how Nicki say it? “Sympathy and payola”
I don’t think….in this situation, Cardi really benefited from colorism She was not cute enough for that in the beginning. And looks aside, its plenty of light skinned beautiful women who don’t really “make it” aka Saweetie, Dream Doll, Tinashe (just now being recognized) etc I truly think it was her personality, and down to earthness that got her this far.

difference between Mona & Cardi is Mona is BLACK & Cardi B is NOT. A lightskinned black woman is more likely to sympathize w/ colorism than a nonblack Latina who NEVER identified as black, never TREATED as black. Yall make Cardi black so you feel better bout yourself but she not
MONA ADDRESSES CARDI B CONTROVERSY, SAYS COLORISM PLAYS A ROLE IN SUCCESS Cardi B argued that some people don't get opportunities because they aren't smart enough to market themselves and sell themselves in important rooms. Mona: “I just thought she was so wrong about it.” “Cardi is very talented, Cardi better than a lot of people.” “But If there was a girl that did exactly what I did, and she was big and Black, I can't say that she would make it where I make it.” “I know part of the reason why I made it here is because I have the complexion for the connection. That's my belief.”

Wait a minute, wait a minute, wait just a minute…. @2chainz pressed Keith Lee when it was this dude who’s review he was thinking about? Apologize!
Funny thing is he didnt show his Esco review but Mr Chimetime did. Now the celebrity portion of skipping the lines I'm OK with. But the quality of the food should be the same for everybody. Like he said he leads with this is Just my opinion I don't mean no harm

RIP. Let’s remember that techno was invented in Detroit by black kids, not in Berlin.

This. The elite have to stay in solidarity, he can’t stand that Keith Lee broke class ranks. That threatens the privilege. Them bougie Atl niggas never beating the allegations
Replying to @dtgaryfromoh
What you saw there indignation from his perception of Keith Lee’s class betrayal. Meanwhile, Keith Lee has and continues to unapologetically represent working class people. It’s why I got love for him.

You can tell he was waiting for this bc his argument was ready. Keith is a champion for people and 2Chainz enjoys his elitism so he hated that Lee had power to effect him when he thinks certain ppl are beneath him. He’s got an album coming out, remember how he feels about you.
2 Chainz got into a DEBATE with Keith Lee after bringing up the BAD REVIEW Keith gave his restaurant, with Keith arguing that his reviews should reflect how REGULAR CUSTOMERS are treated, while 2 Chainz insisted celebrities EARN special treatment 😳👀 2 Chainz also questioned whether Keith’s strict diet as a former athlete affects his TASTE in food and how he judges restaurants. “I’m an entertainer, and obviously we get perks that other people don’t get. That’s just period, my boy. I don’t stand in line at the airport. I don’t do none of that because I done worked my ass off to do this.”

FBA Michiganders saw immigrants come and leap frog them en masse while they who are natives are stagnant and El Sayed couldn’t be bothered to lie to them and say I’ll do the same for you! Yet you’re mad that they’re not voting for him? Good for them and Pastor Winans!

Jim “Fish-Fry” Clyburn annoys me to no end.
Abdul El-Sayed CRASHES OUT and Abruptly ENDS his press conference over one Haley Stevens questions "None of this matters" Reporter "YES, it does matter" Abdul walks out. His campaign has IMPLODED.

Be very clear it is Foundational Black Americans disrupting the political paradigm in this country. Not Black immigrants. THIS is why FBA delineation is critical so that they know specifically who to thank for these political gifts and we can tell them how we should be repaid.

Good for Black Michigan voters, I hope they capitalize on this opportunity. Rs have always wanted the Black vote, Black men especially, I’m glad the guilt tripping isn’t working. It’s not about red or blue it’s about Foundational Black, give your list of demands.
.@AbdulElSayed has abandoned Michigan’s Black communities. Meanwhile, I have committed to showing up, listening, helping, and working with their communities to get Michigan back on track.

And these be the ones who’s parents the first to want to move down south. If your YNs act like this stay right where you at.
Had noooo idea Africans was giving it up like this… but this dead be how these lil mafuggas be looking on the train & shit!!!! HOLY SHIT!!!! #Bronx Kinda explains why A-Boogie had a moment of silence for Frimpong at his concert the other night & I respect him for doing it… all makes sense now🗽

I always say FBAs don’t have that kind of meanness to us. It’s clear who the bad element is. Take pride in the fact that it’s them, not us, teach them how to behave in our communities. Be loud about correction. Call the police on them early or conditions will quickly deteriorate
We need to have an honest about Caribbean, Afro Latino and African people moving to immigrant enclaves in America, bullying each other and then blaming Black Americans because they don't recognize their bullies are also children of immigrants.

And risk not being able to get back in the US? Not on your life.
Personally, I think the boy should be flown back to Ghana for a proper burial. It seems almost disrespectful to bury him in a country that has not learned from its mistakes pertaining to gun violence. He deserves better than that, lay him with his ancestors.

Funny now they’re trying to hurry up and flood these kinds of videos when they saw blaming FBA backfired. They’ve been exposed for being the violent criminals they need us to be, dont call out “it’s a gun and crime issue” without attaching it to “In NYC immigrant communities”
A Security gaurd and community member Gary Lewis speaks about how gangs and gun violence caused the death of Javits Frimpong. #javitsfrimpong #JusticeForJavitsFrimpong

Talk that shit Kev! The way ppl think that’s a bad thing. Gentrification, Private equity and VCs messed every industry up! Leave some stuff to be exclusive to us, it’s better that way.
Nobody knows you outside the Black community is not an insult to me.

It was ALWAYS THEM doing it to each other.
I noticed a lot of DNC backed blogs are reposting Cardi B’s video on the death of Javits Frimpong’s shooting while leaving out this key part she speaks of.
