I don’t know. It feels obscenely stupid to start posting videos of my loved ones in Gaza right now, as their tents flood with rainwater in the middle of the night, as they sleep in damp clothes on soaked mattresses, and to think for a f*cking second that these images might move someone to save their babies, to protect what little dignity they have left.
As if this time could be any different from last year, or the year before that, or the year before that.
As if people around the world, especially those with the power to do something, might suddenly be moved by a family’s tent flooding with rainwater when the sight of hundreds of babies whose bodies were shredded by Israeli bombs was not enough to put an end to this.
How many more times must we expose the suffering of the people we love, strip them of their privacy in their most vulnerable moments, in the desperate hope that someone, somewhere, might finally care enough to act?

The "value" of nuclear weapons is the way they're used as persistent psychological warfare by the ruling class against the world's population. "Are they really mad enough to kill us all this time?"

"the vulnerable will fall by the wayside" (Fauci) & "these are people who were unwell to begin with, and yes really encouraging news" (Walensky) are both quotes from the Biden admin - the eugenicist weaponization of public health amid the ongoing pandemic is a bipartisan project
Covid constitutes the largest mass disabling event in the United States since the Americans with Disabilities Act became law in 1990.
Now, the Trump administration’s anti-worker and anti-disability turn has created a climate of fear and difficulty around Long Covid accommodations. motherjones.com/politics/202…

Could not have done it without @Cambridge_DSA and Cambridge for Palestine. 🌹🍉

As Anthropic prepares to IPO for over $1 trillion, a reminder of Dario Amodei’s words shortly after founding the company:
“Distributed human labor is being used to train AI models by large, centralized actors, who concentrate the resulting profits while in the long run making the human labor obsolete.”
In other words, this IPO will be built off the backs of the world’s creatives - who will get nothing out of it except obsolescence.
It is a totally unjust transfer of wealth and opportunity from artists, writers, musicians & other creatives to a tiny tech elite.
I hope it is remembered as such.
(this quote is from a document he wrote that was unsealed in Bartz v. Anthropic)

There is something really concerning (and disappointing) going on in the US right now.
A dangerous and preventable situation.
Let me explain.

This is NOT a concert.
This is NOT a festival.
This is Gaza today.
Tens of thousands of starving people running for a bag of flour 💔
This is what forced starvation looks like.
