I was told just making the finals isnt impressive. Or does that only apply for one person in particular?
Clearly, Angel Reese is the standard. If we’re going to scrutinize a third-year player making her first playoff run and picking apart every little thing she does all the way to the FINALS, then that same standard needs to apply to every young star in this league.
So I expect all these young greats to be battling for championships next season and for years to come. Because apparently, making the Finals in your first playoff run is the new expectation. 🤷🏽♂️
y’all’s rules not mine !
😂😂 This is the dumbassery from LeBron fans in a nutshell
REMEMBER WHY WE’RE EVEN DISCUSSING THIS.
YOU posted a graphic criticizing Jordan’s Finals 4th quarters.
One of YOUR examples was:
1992 Game 1, Jordan scored 0 points in the 4th.
I responded: Chicago entered the quarter UP 36. Why the hell would Jordan need to score? 😂
And instead of admitting that’s a ridiculous example of Jordan “disappearing,” you’ve now changed the argument to:
“Well, he shouldn’t have been playing because that’s stat-padding.” 😭
STAT-PADDING WHAT? MINUTES? Your original complaint was that he scored ZERO POINTS. 😂😂
I didn’t randomly bring up Jordan playing in a blowout. YOU selected that quarter as evidence against him.
Now that the 36-point lead makes your example look ridiculous, you’re criticizing him for simply existing on the basketball court.
We have officially gone from:
“Jordan disappeared because he didn’t score”
to
“Jordan was stat-padding despite not scoring.
Replying to @jAust16 @shendy456
He’s trying to stat pad. Yup.
If Lebron were still in the game, you’d go apeshit.
😂🤣 OH THIS IS MAGNIFICENT.
So let me make sure I understand the new LeBron defense:
“If LeBron had played better, Miami would’ve won.”
NOOOOOOOO 😭😭😭
NO SHIT, SHERLOCK.
For 15 years we’ve been wondering what happened in 2011, and apparently the answer was:
LeBron needed to play better. 🤯
THAT’S LITERALLY WHAT EVERYONE HAS BEEN SAYING. 😂😂😂
Wade: 26.5 PPG
Bosh: 18.5 PPG
LeBron: 17.8 PPG
Game 4: 8 POINTS in a 3-point loss.
And somehow Wade and Bosh are now being blamed for failing to “carry Miami over the finish line without James’ superior play.”
WITHOUT???
😭😭😭 NIGGA, LEBRON WAS PHYSICALLY IN THE BUILDING.
He wasn’t injured.
He wasn’t suspended.
He wasn’t watching from South Beach.
HE PLAYED 43.7 MINUTES PER GAME. 😂
Apparently Wade was supposed to locate the 26.7-PPG regular-season version of LeBron, file a missing-person report, AND win the championship while the actual LeBron was standing next to him averaging 17.8. 😭
And my favorite part:
“LeBron’s play always dictated their ceiling.”
YES!!! 😂😂😂
IN 2011 HE LOWERED THE CEILING. THAT’S THE ENTIRE POINT.
This isn’t a LeBron defense.
You just took the prosecution’s closing argument, put a cape on it, and called it evidence for the defense. 😭😭😭
😂 “You guys don’t know who these teams were.”
Oh, I know EXACTLY who Seattle was.
They went 64-18, then had to come through the WEST:
Sacramento — 3-1
Houston — 4-0
Utah — 4-3
Then Chicago in the Finals.
That Houston team they SWEPT? The BACK-TO-BACK defending NBA champions with Hakeem Olajuwon and Clyde Drexler. Houston had literally won the previous TWO championships.
Then Seattle beat Stockton and Malone’s 55-win Jazz in a seven-game Western Conference Finals.
And Seattle itself had 64 wins, the NBA’s #2 defense, Gary Payton winning DPOY, plus Shawn Kemp and Detlef Schrempf.
But apparently none of that counts because somebody found newspaper clippings saying they didn’t always get along. 😭😭
That road to the Finals was tougher than the Eastern Conference gauntlets LeBron was routinely getting praised for surviving.
Imagine LeBron coming out of the East after SWEEPING the two-time defending champions, then beating Stockton & Malone in Game 7, winning 64 games, and somebody dismissing the team as “headcases.” 😂
You’d be using that run as evidence of how historically difficult LeBron’s competition was.
But Jordan beat them, so suddenly we’re doing team therapy evaluations instead of basketball
if we’re suddenly counting “killed possessions,” let’s count ALL of them. 😭
You know what else kills a possession?
MISSING THE SHOT.
And Angel Reese who is a BIG who takes most of her shots around the paint, is shooting a lower FG% than Caitlin Clark, a guard taking difficult threes, pull-ups and shots from all over the floor.
So apparently Caitlin’s turnovers are “killing possessions,” but Angel repeatedly missing shots at the rim gets filed under “rebounds gain possessions.” 😂
And defensive rebounds don’t automatically “gain” a new possession the way an offensive rebound does. Most defensive rebounds simply complete a if we’re suddenly counting “killed possessions,” let’s count ALL of them. 😭

Meanwhile, 8 assists create at least 16 points before we even account for 3-point assists, Caitlin’s own scoring, hockey assists, transition opportunities, gravity, traps or advantages she creates.
Caitlin can be an elite offensive engine AND turn the ball over too much. Both can be true. That’s called basketball analysis instead of selecting whichever stat helps your favorite player. 😂
As for the last paragraph, I’m discussing basketball, not assigning people’s opinions to their race. If you need that assumption to make your basketball argument work, that’s your argument’s problem. 🎯. 🎯
PG averaging 5 turnovers to 8 assists be moving yall 😭😭😭
She shooting near 55% at the rim in total and near 65% in her last 10 🤷🏾♂️👨🏾🦯➡️
Turnovers kill possessions
Rebounds gain possessions
Defensive stocks gain possessions
Disliking it doesn’t make you a smarter basketball watcher
And I see how yall treat KM as a fanbase YOU wouldn’t care about Caitlin if she was black 👨🏾🦯➡️👨🏾🦯➡️👨🏾🦯➡️👨🏾🦯➡️
😂😂 “Orlando had 3 players injured!”
The way you keep saying this, you’d think SHAQ AND PENNY WERE OUT. 😭
They weren’t.
Horace Grant got hurt during Game 1 while Chicago was already destroying Orlando. Nick Anderson didn’t hurt his wrist until late in Game 3 with Orlando about to go down 3-0. Brian Shaw missed time.
Injuries mattered, but stop presenting it like Chicago walked into Game 1 against the Orlando General Hospital. 😂
And since injuries apparently diminish championships now, KEEP. THAT. SAME. ENERGY.
2012: Derrick Rose tears his ACL in Round 1. Chicago had the NBA’s best record and disappeared from Miami’s path.
2013: Rose misses the entire season, removing Miami’s biggest recent Eastern rival from contention at full strength.
2016: Steph Curry suffers an MCL sprain during the playoffs before Cleveland eventually faces Golden State.
2020: Goran Dragić tears his plantar fascia in Game 1 of the Finals and essentially misses the series; Bam Adebayo misses Games 2 & 3.
I don’t put an asterisk on LeBron’s rings because of those injuries. YOU introduced that standard. I’m simply applying your rules consistently. 😂
And “Seattle were headcases” might be my favorite excuse yet. 😭
That’s a 64-WIN NBA FINALS TEAM with Gary Payton, Shawn Kemp and Detlef Schrempf.
Apparently Jordan’s competition can now be disqualified for personality traits. 😂
Orlando wins 60: “INJURIES!”
Seattle wins 64: “HEADCASES!”
Jordan beats both: “HORSESHIT COMPETITION!”
2nd worse lebron gobbler on this app
😂😂 LeBron fans and REMOVING CONTEXT name a more dependable duo.
“Jordan disappeared in the 4th.”
Game 4 entering the fourth:
BULLS 74
LAKERS 58
That’s a 16-point lead. 😭
Jordan finished with 28 points and 13 assists, Chicago won by 15, and somehow he’s being criticized for not stat-padding while the game was already under control. What was he supposed to do, start hijacking possessions just so somebody 35 years later couldn’t post “4 points in the 4th”? 😂
And then we get:
“Jordan’s defense was bad. Film shows it.”
Okay… Magic averaged 19.4 PPG that season.
In Game 5?
16 points
4-of-12 shooting
6 turnovers
Meanwhile Jordan had 30 points, 10 assists, 5 steals and 2 blocks.
But because Magic had 20 assists, suddenly Jordan got “exposed defensively”? 😭
MY BROTHER… Jordan wasn’t guarding Magic, the pass, AND whoever caught it.
That’s the whole routine: isolate one number, strip away every bit of context, then yell “EXPOSED!” 😂
Game 4: Jordan “disappeared” while Chicago entered the quarter up 16.
Game 5: Magic supposedly “cooked” him while scoring below his season average, shooting 33%, turning it over 6 times, and losing the championship-clinching game.
Replying to @jAust16
Yeah.
EASY run. One of the easiest ever.
Jordan’s defense was bad. The film shows it.
Jordan disappeared in the fourth in the last 2 games. Wore down. He got lucky Worthy got hurt.
😂😂 “MJ faced horseshit.”
1996 Bulls playoff opponents:
Miami — 42 wins
New York — 47 wins
Orlando — 60 wins
Seattle — 64 wins
That’s 213 combined wins.
MJ went through a 60-win Shaq/Penny team and then a 64-win Seattle team to finish the job.
Apparently everybody becomes “horseshit” once Jordan beats them. 😭
LeBron losing to an all-time team = LOOK HOW GREAT HIS COMPETITION WAS!
Jordan beating elite teams = THEY WEREN’T THAT GOOD! 😂😂
That’s a very convenient GOAT formula.
Stick to politics buddy.
😂😂 Trae Young having 91 career 30/10 games actually proves why this comparison is terrible. 4 players have more in nba history.
30/10 ISN’T historically unique in the NBA. Trae himself has done it 91 times. Hell, he once opened a season with consecutive 30/10 games and was only the second NBA player to do that specific feat.
Caitlin? SIX career 30/10 games , while the entire rest of WNBA history has FOUR COMBINED. And she’s the FIRST WNBA player ever to do it back-to-back. THAT’S why it’s historically significant. 😂
And since you brought up MVP voting, let’s add the context you conveniently forgot:
Trae’s Hawks went 29-53, 20-47, 41-31, 43-39, 41-41, 36-46 and 40-42. They never won more than 43 games in any of those seasons.
Meanwhile Caitlin is putting up historic numbers for a 26-14 contender that’s won 7 of 9.
So congratulations: you compared an accomplishment that’s relatively common in NBA history to one that’s almost nonexistent in WNBA history, while completely ignoring team success in an MVP discussion. 😭
Other than that, flawless comparison.
Without that “girl “ they would be a .500 team and not on any mvp ballots
Everyone is hard on Stephanie white, but this has been a super move. Has changed the team on both ends
😂😂 Somebody PLEASE perform a wellness check on the gentleman who told us in May:
“The Caitlin Clark thing is over. She’s Jeremy Lin. This is just Linsanity.”
This is the longest damn “Linsanity” I’ve ever seen. 😭
Apparently Linsanity lasts multiple seasons now and includes First-Team All-WNBA as a rookie followed by becoming even better.
Sports takes need expiration dates AND accountability. 😂
Serious question:
What exactly would Caitlin Clark have to average for a month before some of y’all admit she’s playing elite basketball? 😂
Because 24.4 PPG / 9.4 APG / 41% from 3 apparently still isn’t enough for everybody.
