You must understand that Americans, like anyone, are self-interested. If you risk their access to Mexican food, they’ll punish you. If their gas is more expensive, they’ll punish you.

We need to generally be playing a very tight game, and whatever trauma we have from leftist or neocon (tautology) cancel culture has convinced us to entertain people within our coalition who are at best unstable and at worst just subversives. No successful political movement has ever done that, much less an insurgent one.
Fortunately, these people don’t have any real influence. But if we treat them like they do and engage in their ideological masturbation rituals then we risk distracting from what Americans actually care about, which again are simply QOL increases and not having their liberal sensibilities too offended.
