You ready for a tin foil hat?
Abbott didn’t underperform.
He got 30% fewer votes than 2024 Trump. That’s normal.
But Hinojosa defied math.
….
She scored 7% more votes than Kamala.
That’s 15% better than any Democrat has done since 2000.
32% better than the abnormality that 2018 was.
She also scored 46% more votes than the Democrat in the 2022 election.

Elections should operate this way…
Primaries: No public election. Let the parties select their candidate via voting from their delegates, who are well versed in their party’s principles. This takes money out of candidate selection, as they will campaign to thousands, not millions.
General: Voters show up to a voting place and audibly state their name, location, and who they are voting for. No secret ballots. No mail in ballots. Stand behind your vote. It’s the only way poll watchers can make sure everything is 100% accurate.
The OK Conference should consider this alignment.
It works great for a basketball/football alignment…balancing geography, competition, and rivalries.
Inter-division scheduling could be automated, saving ADs stress.
Each division would have a tier ranking.
In football, schools would only play other schools within 1 tier.
In basketball, it would be within 2 tiers.
OK Red - Tier 1
OK White - Tier 2
OK Green - Tier 3
OK Black - Tier 4
OK Blue - Tier 5
OK Orange - Tier 5
OK Silver - Tier 6

If there was ever a time to start a competitor to a major sports league, it’s now and the target is the NBA.
People are so done with the NBA’s bs.
Get investors together, start the ABA, and do it right.
No one will convince me this isn’t the best alignment of power conferences for the sake of rivalries, history, and balance.
I’m willing to lay aside all my core beliefs on responsibility, accountability, and discipline to consider Legend Bey for QB
If I’m the ACC, this is the move.
Estimated Payout: ~$65 mil/school
That’s competitive with the Big Ten ($79 mil) & SEC ($72 mil), and dwarfs the B12 ($39 mil)
A tiered payout system could put ND/Clemson/FSU/Miami above B1G and SEC payouts.
And here’s the pitch…
NOTRE DAME: “You’re already a partial member. If power consolidates to the Big Ten & SEC, you’ll be forced to join them and be one of many. Join our league, keep your NBC structure + our $68 mil & be the premier school. Keep your power.”
MIAMI/UNC/CLEM/FSU: “Don’t go to the B1G or SEC, where you’ll get buried in the middle and travel all over the place. Stay here, make a bunch of money, and remain elite.”
WEST VIRGINIA: “Come here, travel less, make $28 mil/yr more, and rejoin your rivals Virginia and Virginia Tech.” Easy sell.
DROPPED SCHOOLS: “The current ACC is dead regardless. Go join the Big 12, which we know you’ll do anyways. We’ll waive your exit fee.”
ON MEMPHIS & UCONN: Adding them further establishes the ACC as a basketball juggernaut, refining the ACC’s identity.

Fun fact for all the Bernie fans out there.
In 1945 the top income tax bracket was 94%.
You also couldn’t evade taxes by leaving the country. If you were a citizen of the US, your worldwide income was taxed.
The top 1% still only paid about 15% taxes.
Taxing more doesn’t fix anything.
The fact that at any moment a commercial like “Other Mommy” can appear on the TV with my kids in the room is awful.
A TV program shouldn’t be allowed to be rated PG if they are doing R rated commercials.
Someone in the house or senate needs to propose a bill to change this.

Fun fact about @JenisonWildcats football…
From 1979-2001 (Jenison’s peak as a football program), Jenison had the 5th most wins amongst class A programs who did not win a state championship.
And all four programs above Jenison (Sterling Heights Stevenson, Westland John Glenn, Utica Eisenhower, and Midland) are from the east side.
So during Jenison’s peak, they were definitively the best program on the west side of the state that didn’t win a state championship.
This makes sense, given Jenison’s best seasons included:
2001 - Finished 11-3, Lost to Chippewa Valley in the state finals
1995 - Finished 10-1, Lost to Holt at regionals
1993 - Finished 10-2, Lost to Midland in the semi finals
1986 - Lost to Muskegon at regionals
All four of those schools Jenison lost to either made the state finals (Holt, Midland) or won the state championship (Chippewa, Muskegon).
For all the crap the SEC talks about strong OOC scheduling, it’s important to note that scheduling terrible P4 opponents is not an accomplishment.
Number of Ranked OOC Opponents This Year…
Big Ten: 3 (Ohio State-Texas, Michigan-Oklahoma, Wisconsin-Notre Dame)
SEC: 3 (Texas-Ohio State, Arkansas-Utah, Ole Miss-Louisville)
Top Ohio State “what ifs?” since 2000…
2003: What if Maurice Clarett comes back?
2005: What if Ryan Hamby makes the catch against Texas?
2006: What if it’s a rematch against Michigan, instead of Florida?
2008: What if Tressel commits to Pryor instead of Boekman?
2010: What if tattoogate never happens?
2011/2012: What if Ohio State accepted the bowl ban in 2011, instead of 2012?
2013: What if Braxton gets the first down vs MSU?
2014: What if Braxton or JT never gets hurt?
2015: What if Herman didn’t leave and OSU committed to Cardale?
2016: What if Penn State doesn’t block the kick?
2017: What if Haskins plays in the B1G championship instead of JT?
2018: What if OSU takes Purdue and Rondale Moore (RIP) seriously?
2019: What if the fumble and/or targeting are called differently?
2022: What if it’s called targeting on MHJ or Bowers is called short?
2023: What if we target MHJ more than 5 times against Michigan?
2024: What if we beat Michigan?
2025: What if we make the kick against IU and/or target Jeremiah more than 7 times?
