I think there should be more software engineering degree programs. The demand is clearly there. People are using CS degrees for this today, but that’s like majoring in physics when your career goal is to be a mechanical engineer.
It is pretty fucked up that the Metaverse will be, for many, the only escape from the dystopia Facebook is helping create in the real world.
