users: Discord sucks because it’s not on search engines and I don’t want to join a server and it’ll become lost media
Discord: ok we’ll make public servers indexed and searchable
users: 😡
If you've ever searched for a specific speedrun trick, someone has likely already answered it in a channel somewhere, in one of 63,000 Discoverable Servers. We’re updating Discoverable Servers to make those answers easier to find. View article

more clickbait fearmongering slop from dexerto, this does not apply to "public servers" this applies to servers in the Discovery program, y'know... servers that need to meet THESE requirements AND apply for it lol
Discord will soon make public server messages searchable on Google
The feature will be enabled by default for US adults, but users can opt out in their privacy settings
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Missing context: only applies to messages posted after the update, in public channels of discoverable servers.
No private servers or DMs.
Indexed messages won’t show usernames or avatars.
Admins can opt out entire servers; users can opt out their own messages.

Imagine playing Cyberpunk DnD and your DM is literally John Cyberpunk
The crew? Assembled.
The dice? Ready!
What could possibly go wrong?
The first episode of our special Cyberpunk Pen & Paper session is here, with the one and only Mike Pondsmith from @RTalsorianGames running the game!

ALT Image of Mike Pondsmith speaking. He wears dark, angular sunglasses. Text reads, “RPG Sessions, Episode 1.” The Cyberpunk 2077 logo appears in the corner.

If you're trans and put passion into something they straight up just make up grooming allegations and kill you for it, even your own people

Disco Elysium went down in the annals of videogame history because it dared to ask a question that even today's games are afraid to ask: "Can you read, like, a few paragraphs at a time?"

i still remember when i was at the cinemas at the end of I Saw the TV Glow w ma partner at the time and we were both crying but the rest of the cinema full of cis ppl were laughing at it and i think that kinda encapsulates the trans experience in general
