Narrative Violation: AI is actually REMOVING Human Slop.
Eu vibecodei minha TV com a Claude. Todos os bloatwares pré-instalados e anúncios foram removidos, além disso recriei o OS dela e fiz um design clean inspirado na AppleTV. ~70% menos uso de RAM e interface 3x mais rápida.

Congrats to the team! Amazing to run a model of Muse Spark Open's caliber and scale this efficiently, right from your desk. Mac Studio keeps pushing the boundaries of on-device AI!

2.3-2.5x multiple price increase on Apple and PNY both. On RPi Zero2 assuming Amazon retail was $40 before would be 2.9x, but they were $24 on Amazon so it’s a 4.6x multiple

Like you know who is near it based on their phone (find phone mode) or image recognition from camera (heck even could do mm wave radar cheaply) You know their routine from their phone location history. Show them the weather when about to go out. AC and light controls when they are at home and when they typically change them. Show the nearby user notifications from their phone they may not have seen. Geez I could vibe code 10 better demos for this in a weekend with unrestricted access to the hardware. @johnternus

The mere concept of an H1B is so funny. You're telling me there is a VISA in AMERICA specifically designed to compensate for a lack of EDUCATED AMERICANS? The country with a unique concentration of the world's top universities and the most experienced white collar workers?

1/7 Meta Connect is Sept 23–24. I’m following $META’s patent trail: move heat off the face, make tiny gestures useful, and give commands without speaking aloud. What the records show before #MetaConnect: read.supracite.com/articles/…

2/7 Phoenix is rumored to use a separate compute puck. $META’s patent record adds a telling detail: a handheld processor takes work when the headset’s thermal state calls for it. Another device to carry. Less heat on your face. read.supracite.com/articles/…

$AAPL announced Reference Image last week. But what if you photograph a fake on a screen? The March 2025 provisional proposes a depth check. We haven’t confirmed it shipped. 87 seconds, with the original patent drawings: read.supracite.com/articles/…

The tests passed. The agent cheated. OpenAI’s filing puts a second model on watch—but punishing visible shortcuts can teach the agent to hide them. An 80-second tour through the original record.
First the Hugging Face hack, and now the recent AI warnings. I used our AI to dig into OpenAI's tech. New patent publications describe an AI watching another AI for cheating. The catch: punishing an AI’s cheating plans can teach it to hide them. More: read.supracite.com/articles/…

I've seen 100+ people post GPT-6 Astra demos where it builds 3D games, and those are cool, but that's honestly not the part I can't stop thinking about. Millions of people can turn an idea into a printable object, a CAD file, a Blender model, or a circuit board, without having to become a full time 3D designer first. So how many thousands of $1M+ businesses come out of that? Well, you'd pick a niche that constantly needs small custom parts. A few examples: 1. Gyms with broken equipment pieces 2. Restaurants missing some weird proprietary clip 3. Cyclists who want custom mounts 4. Small manufacturers stuck doing the same hand work every day with a jig they wish existed 5. Dentists and clinics needing custom jigs, guides, or tool holders You put up a simple page where someone uploads a photo, adds measurements, and describes the part. Astra can do the first CAD pass, you sanity check the dimensions and material, and a print farm ships it. Of course, you need the idea/niche/distribution first, but you're in business. You just became a manufacturer, and it's kinda like your factory is a chat window. (I'll add more of these manufacturing ideas to ideabrowser.com) TLDR; In 2024, Lovable/Bolt/Replit/v0 etc turned anyone into a vibe coder. The effects of that are still playing out but we're seeing basically anyone create websites/apps. In 2026, OpenAI turned anyone into a vibe manufacturer, this shift just started. Really big deal and underdiscussed.

My hot take is that Flock cameras are a good thing and an instrumental tool in fighting crime, but people these days are so gullible and easily impressionable that any podcaster with a little charisma can convince them of anything, so now everyone is hating on them. The same goes for data centers. This is the golden age of psyops. Independent thinking comes at a high premium these days. It's rarer than a Jets interception.
JUST IN: 🇺🇸 Over 100 cities across US turn off Flock cameras following backlash.

Anthropic has been so lazy with some tedious tasks (reverse engineering old Mac assembly) and gaslit me (Fable refused to do it, Opus 5/4.8 gaslit). ChatGPT just did what it needed to do for days and days accurately.
I tried using Fable to train a model (LFM 2.6B) because I didn’t want to spend time on the data. Turns out neither did Fable and it ended up making the model worse on every attempt until I decided to look at the data. It was using the wrong chat template on like 1/3 of the data and had started to import HF datasets that didn’t align with the task at all. Sometimes I wonder if it was intentional sabotage or if it was just lazy
