@GetFalcontext 6.0 finds the places your book names, which chapters each one is in, and where each chapter is set: guessed from the text, or set by hand. (Pro)

#MicroFictionMonday @mondaymicrofic October 19, 2026 Prompts: fief, fife “Slater, The Giant Slayer” Rouge bled through the horizon across The Lemrynce Sea. Mist rumbled, gathering darkly beneath the sky. Charged currents flickered, beckoning the waters above, and the waves below.  On the shore of the fief, Slater shivered under his tunic. Lavender silk fluttered in the wind. Golden tassels swayed. He filled his torso with salt brine air, and exhaled, watching the surf steadily withdraw out to sea.  Slater pivoted, and faced a cavalcade preparing to march up the mountain. The chief, wearing his ornate vassal robe and lily-woven crown, stood next to him.  “The Giant awakens!” “I will sleep,” declared Slater. “Slaters!” The chief addressed the men of the fief. “Serfs of the surf. Once again, earth and sky collide. The bleeding dawn calls forth The Giant of The Deep.” The chief clasped Slater’s hand, and raised it, while both men chanted:  “Felix! Fideles! Fontis! Fumo!”  Acclamation thundered from every man in the fief: “Fee! Fi! Fo! Fum!” Fifes chirruped, and drums resounded, ushering the men up the side of the mountain, until they reached the edge of the crater.  Slater walked past the men, and tumbled off the precipice. He reposed in the lava bed, and quelled the approaching Giant.

Microfiction Monday! @mondaymicrofic Prompt: Fumblerooski Okay, number one, Tret: I don't work like that. Number two, Mentivis will know something is up. Number three, I'm not getting Brox in trouble. (set in my Warriors Orochi fanfic)

In everyday language, "fief" or "fiefdom" is used metaphorically to describe any corporate department, territory, or domain over which a single person exercises absolute or heavy-handed control. Google @mondaymicrofic 👇

People are liking this tool and I love that! Take a look at @GetFalcontext, the free version is free to use without signup, and Perch (the webapp) is its own editor!
I've been using @GetFalcontext for a few weeks now, and I have found it really helpful. It's been so helpful to have things such as my crutch words pointed out. Hate to give props to @realmattfalcon, but it is pretty good.
