Absolutely loving the autumnal feel of CHASING THE HEADLESS HORSEMAN, the latest book by one of my favorite authors. As a nerd for travelogues that combine history and legend, this is right up the spooky covered bridge to my heart. 馃巸馃敟馃懟
Joined my son & his friend to see LINKIN PARK: UNSHATTER in ScreenX (it wrapped around 3 walls of the theater). It was phenomenal! The concert footage was great & it was beautiful to watch the band support each other, figuring out how to continue after a founding member's death.
It's my 51st birthday! Every year, though it sounds a bit morbid, I look into which famous people never reached my age. What more would they have created or experienced? 51 may not sound young to me, but I feel young and there's so much to create and experience, so bring it on!
At last night's book signing, a reader showed me a project she did as a high school senior, recording THIRTEEN REASONS WHY onto audio cassettes and putting them in a shoebox (like in the book) along with her report. So cool!
I was part of an answer on Jeopardy tonight! I think this is the third time, which is so unbelievably cool. It's the book that just keeps on going...despite its publisher being 馃樁鈥嶐煂笍.
If you can see @DrakeMilligan live, be awesome to yourself and go! He writes extremely catchy traditional country with great lyrics & phenomenal stage presence. @SeanOliu opened and had the audience captured with just a guitar & his voice. Both dudes have such deep, rich voices!
Tonight, we're seeing MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE! As someone who still owns all of my MOTU toys, and once attended Power-Con (where I purchased two cells from the show and met Alan Oppenheimer, the original voice of Skeletor), yep, I'm excited!
I've finished Book 6 in Martin Turnbull's "The Garden of Allah" series set in the Golden Age of Hollywood & staying immersed for another 3. Thankfully, he has 2 trilogies & 2 stand-alones also set then. See martinturnbull.com to get the first 2 books in the series for free!
