Defensively UTAs obviously improved. Not a finished project but trending in the right direction.
Offensively theyre wildly inconsistent but I think its pretty skewed by simply missing shots. What is their record right now if theyre just league average from 3 & the FT line? .500?
I don’t agree with this at all. Active? No, cuz 2 of their best players are hurt. That goes without saying. We’re not even having this conversation if Nurk & JJJ are playing. The Jazz aren’t making wide open looks & Hardy’s been bad. Thats why they’re 1-7.
On a positive note thats the 5th game UTA’s had a chance to win. Like I’ve said before, they’re close. The Jazz are a few made shots away from being 5-3. The talent is absolutely there but the shooting & coaching have been poor, thus the 1-7 start. Obviously Nurk & JJJ too.

12-0 run in overtime… The Jazz won’t continue to shoot this bad, but another L that falls largely on Will Hardy.
I have no clue what he’s doing or thinking half the time.
There’s definitely truth to this but the Jazz going away from their sets & ball movement to heavy iso on Key in the 4th quarter is on Hardy. Gotta be more creative in running on downs for Lauri & Ace or pnr w/ Hayes to space w/ a lob threat.
