Transgenderism must revert to being a form of private eccentricity. Recognition as one's preferred gender can be privately negotiated but with no coercion by any entity private or public. We all have an absolute right to affirm or not affirm, believe or not believe, that gender identity exists, that no one can infringe.
Sex segregated spaces and activities remain segregated by sex, not "gender identity."
Adults are free to inflict bodily self-harm on themselves in pursuit of an appearance they like but outside of any pretense of a medical protocol -- these are cosmetic procedures that come with no promises to relieve dysphoria or unlock an authentic self and the cost is borne solely by the person seeking them. Any such promises constitute consumer fraud. Children are of course unable to consent to such procedures.
The state has no role in affirming any aspect of cross-gender ideation, avoids proselytizing to children in schools or to anyone else in any interface it has with the public. The person who has inflicted bodily self-harm on his sex traits is no more a distinct class of person to whom special privileges or protections can be conferred than a person who has covered his face in tattoos. The person who believes with all his heart that he is a woman at heart and would die if others don't recognize him as such imposes no duty on any other person to share in that belief or to pretend to share in it. That person must develop resiliency about living in a pluralistic, liberal, democratic society where every person has a right to belief and a corollary right to unbelief that no one may legitimately infringe.
Any and all deviations from this resolution are morally illegitimate and practically untenable.
The attempt to turn a private eccentricity into a social cause that justified the remaking of society was a ghastly and destructive mistake. It was made inevitable by certain facets of the culture and certain aspects of our politics. We must learn the lesson that experience has now taught us.

And this is the point… any sport allowing males into a sports category for women & girls IS breaking the law right now, their public liability insurance will be null & void. Schools & public buildings need separate sex based toilets. The SC ruling clarified the law weeks ago now
"The risk to the Scottish Government if they do not act is that, if a woman is assaulted in prison next week by one of these male convicts, their liability will have skyrocketed."

There are many differences between us, George, but some are particularly relevant to this debate.
1. You're a man and I'm a woman.
2. You've been wealthy and famous since your early 20s. I didn't become well known until I was well over 30.
3. I've never been given 15 months for handcuffing a man to a wall and beating him with a chain.
4. I believe in freedom of speech and belief.
For more than half my life I was a regular anonymous person. Some of those years were spent in poverty. That's why I understand the importance of single-sex spaces for women who're reliant on state-funded services. That's why I understand why mixed public changing rooms are a problem for women. That's why I have a problem with men 'identifying' into women's rape crisis centres, domestic abuse and homeless shelters that are supposed to be single-sex. I don't stand against gender identity ideology because I personally still need those services, but because my life has taught me exactly how vulnerable women are when they don't have the money/influence I have now.
You yourself have been convicted of violent assault. The overwhelming number of people who commit crimes of violence are male, just like you. That's why I don't want to see men identifying into women's prison cells or any of the spaces mentioned above. Not all men are violent or predatory, but enough are to make safeguarding necessary.
Lastly, I'm a writer who believes in freedom of speech and belief. As we both know, the safe, fashionable thing in the arts world right now is to do exactly what you're doing: parrot TWAW and sneer at the unenlightened plebs who think sex is important and matters. For a man who was once all about non-conformity, George, you couldn't have become more predictably or more tediously conformist.

Seriously? You think we're "phobic", a word that means that we fear your sorry okoles?
We don't fear you. We oppose your actions, and for the good reasons listed below.
Get a grip. If you'd do three simple things, you'd never have to worry about people hating on you:
1. Stop invading women's spaces. They don't want you there. LISTEN TO THEM.
2. Stop supporting the social, hormonal, and surgical interference with children, particularly without telling their parents.
3. Stop insisting that I lie about your sex. You can't change it, and we will never lie and pretend you can. Get over it.
Do those things and your lives will be much better. Most folks don't care if you want to cosplay as the opposite sex. However, we care passionately about you doing the things above.
It's not who you are, or who you want to pretend to be, that has us upset. It's what you do.
Keep doing those things, and keep blaming people who logically and reasonably oppose you for doing them, and your lives will continue to be miserable.

In passing the Scottish Hate Crime Act, Scottish lawmakers seem to have placed higher value on the feelings of men performing their idea of femaleness, however misogynistically or opportunistically, than on the rights and freedoms of actual women and girls. The new legislation is wide open to abuse by activists who wish to silence those of us speaking out about the dangers of eliminating women's and girls’ single-sex spaces, the nonsense made of crime data if violent and sexual assaults committed by men are recorded as female crimes, the grotesque unfairness of allowing males to compete in female sports, the injustice of women’s jobs, honours and opportunities being taken by trans-identified men, and the reality and immutability of biological sex.
For several years now, Scottish women have been pressured by their government and members of the police force to deny the evidence of their eyes and ears, repudiate biological facts and embrace a neo-religious concept of gender that is unprovable and untestable. The re-definition of 'woman' to include every man who declares himself one has already had serious consequences for women's and girls’ rights and safety in Scotland, with the strongest impact felt, as ever, by the most vulnerable, including female prisoners and rape survivors.
It is impossible to accurately describe or tackle the reality of violence and sexual violence committed against women and girls, or address the current assault on women’s and girls’ rights, unless we are allowed to call a man a man. Freedom of speech and belief are at an end in Scotland if the accurate description of biological sex is deemed criminal.
I'm currently out of the country, but if what I've written here qualifies as an offence under the terms of the new act, I look forward to being arrested when I return to the birthplace of the Scottish Enlightenment.

Literally 100% of men who claim to be women could be the nicest & safest men in the world and that still doesn’t actually justify including them in female spaces.

The most bizarre lie ever told by gender identity lobbyists is that puberty blockers are a "pause button". They aren't and can never be because children on puberty blockers continue to age chronologically. During this ongoing process of getting older, puberty blockers (if given for long enough) result in missing the *crucial window of opportunity* to go through puberty and adolescence, which are time-sensitive developmental stages. Children on PBs aren't literally "frozen in time"; their maturation and development are simply impaired while the rest of the body continues to age, amid extreme sex hormone imbalance, which is then made even worse by cross-sex hormones which are administered to almost all children on PBs in the name of "gender affirming care", according to studies. Nobody can go through puberty in their 20s or 30s, let alone go through opposite sex puberty at any time whatsoever. These ideas exist only in the minds of believers in gender identity ideology, they aren't real in any physical or material sense. Every qualified medical professional should be able to see through these lies, using just their basic training, let alone an army of surgeons, endocrinologists and psychiatrists who engineered these false assertions and have been profiting from them for decades.
