Having a girlfriend is like raising a f*cking child.
You gotta keep her entertained before she gets bored and ruins your life for fun.
You thought you found love.
Congratulations.
You adopted a grown-ass toddler with a phone.
You can't have one peaceful f*cking weekend.
Plan a date.
Book a trip.
Spend some money.
God forbid princess gets bored.
Nothing's wrong. Nobody cheated.
But she's bored.
So now your relationship needs a f*cking crisis.
You bust your ass to give her a comfortable life.
She gets comfortable.
Then complains there's no excitement.
You can't make this sh*t up.
Some women would rather start a fight than survive a boring Tuesday.
Now you're defending yourself against an argument she invented for entertainment.
Give her peace. She calls it boring.
Give her stability. She misses excitement.
Apparently, chaos is the only thing that gets her wet.
The most exhausting woman isn't the one with problems.
It's the one who creates problems because she has none.
You're her boyfriend, therapist, ATM, travel agent, and, f*cking circus clown.
Stop performing for one week.
"You've changed."
Never marry a woman who needs drama to feel alive.
You'll spend your entire marriage putting out fires she started just to feel warm.

An MIT professor gives a student $5 and says: send any amount to a stranger in this room. Whatever you send triples. The stranger decides how much comes back.
Rational answer: send nothing. You lose every dollar you trust.
Most students send almost everything. Most strangers return more than half. The math says keep it. The room says otherwise.
Then the professor runs a different game. Same cash. Same room. One student splits. The other can only accept. No rejection. No consequences.
The offers collapse. Not to zero. But enough to see the line between generosity and strategy.
One year a student got Swiss chocolate instead of cash. She was lactose intolerant. Gave away 100%. The professor noted it. The class laughed. Nobody noticed the point.
She had zero cost of generosity. The moment giving costs nothing, everyone is generous. The moment real money hits the table, the room divides into the same two groups every semester. People who send first. People who wait.
Labor, capital, arbitrage, insurance. Four ways to make money. All four require the same opening move.
You send value before you see a return. A paycheck after the work. A deposit before the interest. A bet before the edge. A premium before the claim.
The lecture is free. MIT filmed it years ago. The game runs every semester. The split barely changes.
Sending first is free. Knowing if it comes back is the part that costs something.

There's a new anti-aging drug that could help dogs live longer!
It's called LOY-002 and is currently being tested as a daily pill to help older dogs liver longer and healthier lives.
Over 1,300 dogs are in the trial.
Researchers are also testing rapamycin separately to see if there are similar effects.
I find this whole area of dog longevity super-exciting.
I believe peptides saved my dog's life, and I think there's a world where new therapeutics and longevity drugs give us a few more healthy years with the dogs we love.
It's definitely one of the most beautiful applications of longevity science I can think of.

Creamy Mushroom Chicken
Serves: 4
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 25 minutes
Total Time: 35 minutes
Ingredients
Chicken
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs (about 700 g)
½ teaspoon salt, or to taste
¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper, or to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
Creamy Mushroom Sauce
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
340 g cremini or button mushrooms, sliced
1 small shallot, finely chopped
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves, or ½ teaspoon dried thyme
180 ml chicken broth
180 ml heavy cream
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard, optional
¼ cup (25–30 g) finely grated Parmesan cheese, optional
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Method
Prepare the chicken: Pat the chicken dry with paper towels. Season both sides evenly with salt and black pepper.
Sear the chicken: Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and sear for 4–5 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. The internal temperature should reach 74°C (165°F). Transfer the chicken to a plate and set aside.
Cook the mushrooms: Reduce the heat to medium and add the butter. Once melted, add the sliced mushrooms and a small pinch of salt. Cook for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mushrooms release their moisture and become nicely browned.
Add the aromatics: Add the shallot, garlic, and thyme. Cook for about 1 minute, stirring frequently, until fragrant.
Deglaze the pan: Pour in the chicken broth and scrape the browned bits from the bottom of the skillet. Simmer for 2–3 minutes, allowing the liquid to reduce slightly.
Make the sauce: Stir in the heavy cream and Dijon mustard, if using. Simmer gently for 3–4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens enough to coat the back of a spoon. Stir in the Parmesan, if using, and adjust the seasoning to taste.
Finish the chicken: Return the chicken and any accumulated juices to the skillet. Spoon the mushroom sauce over the chicken and simmer gently for 1–2 minutes until heated through.
Garnish and serve: Remove from the heat and sprinkle generously with chopped fresh parsley.
Recipe Note
For the best results, avoid overcrowding the skillet when searing the chicken or mushrooms. A good sear creates the browned bits that add extra depth and flavor to the creamy sauce.

Honey-Roasted Pears with Mascarpone & Cranberry Drizzle
Servings: 4
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 25–30 minutes
Total Time: 40 minutes
Ingredients
4 ripe but firm Bosc or Anjou pears, halved and cored
3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
¼ cup honey, divided
½ tsp ground cinnamon
¼ tsp ground cardamom (optional)
Pinch of sea salt
8 oz (225g) mascarpone cheese, at room temperature
2 tbsp powdered sugar
½ tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp lemon zest
½ cup dried cranberries
¼ cup fresh or frozen cranberries (optional)
2 tbsp maple syrup or honey, for the drizzle
2 tbsp water
Fresh rosemary sprigs, for garnish
Freshly cracked black pepper
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Prep the pears. Halve each pear lengthwise and scoop out the core with a melon baller or spoon. Slice a thin strip off the rounded back of each half so they sit flat in the baking dish.
Coat them. Arrange pears cut-side up in a baking dish. Brush with melted butter, drizzle with 2 tbsp honey, then sprinkle with cinnamon, cardamom (if using), and a pinch of salt.
Roast 20 minutes until tender and caramelized at the edges.
Make the cranberry drizzle. While the pears roast, combine dried cranberries, fresh cranberries (if using), maple syrup, and water in a small saucepan. Simmer over low heat 5–7 minutes until the berries soften and the liquid turns glossy and syrupy. Set aside.
Whip the mascarpone. Stir mascarpone, powdered sugar, vanilla, and lemon zest together until smooth and creamy.
Assemble. Spoon a generous dollop of mascarpone into the hollow of each warm pear half. Drizzle remaining honey over the top.
Finish. Spoon the cranberry drizzle over the pears, letting it pool on the plate. Garnish with rosemary sprigs and a crack of black pepper.
Serve warm — as a dessert, or over arugula as an impressive starter.
Tips
Firm pears hold their shape — overripe ones collapse into mush.
Serve warm, not hot — the mascarpone stays creamy instead of melting away.
The drizzle thickens as it cools — pull it off the heat while still slightly loose.
Variations
Swap mascarpone for whipped ricotta or crème fraîche.
Add chopped pistachios or walnuts for crunch.
Replace cranberries with pomegranate arils when in season.

Mexican Street Corn Pasta Salad
Ingredients:
- 1 pound trotole pasta (or similar curly pasta like rotini or fusilli)
- 6 ears corn, roasted (or about 3 cups corn kernels)
- 1/2 cup red onion, finely diced
- 1/2 cup jalapeño pepper, seeded and diced (adjust amount for desired heat level)
- 3/4 cup finely shredded cheddar cheese, divided
- 3/4 cup finely shredded Cotija cheese, divided (or substitute feta if unavailable)
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 lime, juiced (about 2 tablespoons)
- 1-2 teaspoons Tajín seasoning (or to taste)
- Lime zest (optional, for extra flavor)
- Fresh cilantro, chopped
- Additional Tajín seasoning for sprinkling
- Lime wedges for serving
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta: Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add about 1 tablespoon of salt to the water (this seasons the pasta from within). Add the trotole pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes. It's important not to overcook the pasta, as you want it to maintain its shape and texture in the salad. Once done, drain the pasta in a colander and rinse immediately with cold water to stop the cooking process and cool it down. Allow the pasta to drain completely.
2. Prepare the corn: If using corn on the cob: Remove the husks and silk from each ear. You can roast the corn on a grill over medium-high heat for about 10 minutes, turning occasionally until charred in spots, or roast in a 400°F oven for about 15-20 minutes. Once cool enough to handle, carefully cut the kernels off the cob using a sharp knife. Stand the ear vertically on its flat end and slice downward, rotating as you go. If using frozen corn: Thaw completely and pan-roast in a skillet over medium-high heat until lightly charred in spots, about 5-7 minutes.
3. Prepare the vegetables and cheese: Finely dice the red onion and jalapeño pepper. For less heat, remove the seeds and membranes from the jalapeño; for more heat, leave some in. Set aside 1/4 cup each of the shredded cheddar and Cotija cheeses for topping the salad later. The remaining 1/2 cup of each cheese will go directly into the salad.
4. Combine salad ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooled, drained pasta, roasted corn kernels, diced red onion, and diced jalapeño. Add 1/2 cup each of the shredded cheddar and Cotija cheeses. Gently toss these ingredients together until well distributed.
5. Make the dressing: In a separate medium bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, and freshly squeezed lime juice until smooth. If using, add the lime zest for extra flavor. Add 1 teaspoon of Tajín seasoning, whisk to combine, then taste. Add more Tajín as desired, up to 2 teaspoons total, depending on your preference for spice and tanginess. The dressing should be creamy but pourable.
6. Dress the salad: Pour the prepared dressing over the pasta mixture in the large bowl. Using a large spoon or rubber spatula, gently fold and toss until all the ingredients are evenly coated with the dressing. Take care not to break up the pasta or mash the other ingredients while mixing.
7. Add toppings and chill: Transfer the dressed salad to a serving bowl if desired. Sprinkle the reserved 1/4 cup of cheddar cheese and 1/4 cup of Cotija cheese over the top. Dust with a little additional Tajín for color and flavor. Scatter freshly chopped cilantro over the top if using. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
8. Serve: Before serving, give the salad a gentle toss to redistribute any dressing that may have settled. Serve chilled with lime wedges on the side for those who enjoy an extra squeeze of citrus. This salad makes a perfect side dish for barbecues, potlucks, or as an accompaniment to grilled meats.

Sticky Sesame-Glazed Beef Short Ribs 🔥 🥩
"Charred, glossy, and bursting with Asian-inspired flavor"
Ingredients
For the beef:
2 lb (900 g) beef short ribs, preferably thin-cut flanken-style
1 tbsp vegetable oil, for grilling
1 tbsp sesame seeds, toasted
2 green onions, thinly sliced
Fresh cilantro or coriander, optional, for garnish
For the marinade:
½ cup (120 ml) soy sauce
3 tbsp honey
2 tbsp brown sugar
1½ tbsp sesame oil
2 tbsp rice vinegar
4 cloves garlic, finely minced
1 tbsp fresh ginger, finely grated
1 tbsp gochujang or another Asian chili paste
1 tbsp finely grated pear or apple
½ tsp freshly ground black pepper
¼ tsp red pepper flakes
2 tbsp water
Prepare the Marinade:
In a medium bowl, combine the soy sauce, honey, brown sugar, sesame oil, and rice vinegar.
Add the minced garlic, grated ginger, gochujang, grated pear or apple, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
Whisk thoroughly until the honey and sugar are well incorporated.
Reserve about ¼ cup of the marinade before adding the beef. Keep it refrigerated; this will be used to make the finishing glaze.
Marinate the Beef:
Place the short ribs in a large shallow dish or resealable bag.
Pour the remaining marinade over the beef, making sure every piece is well coated.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours. For deeper flavor, marinate for 6–12 hours.
Remove the ribs from the refrigerator about 20–30 minutes before grilling.
Remove excess marinade from the surface of the beef so it grills rather than steams.
Make the Sticky Glaze:
Pour the reserved marinade into a small saucepan.
Add 2 tablespoons of water.
Bring to a gentle boil and simmer for 3–5 minutes, stirring frequently, until slightly thickened and glossy.
Remove from the heat and set aside.
Important:
Never brush the cooked beef with marinade that has been in contact with raw meat unless it has been thoroughly boiled first.
Grill the Short Ribs:
Preheat your grill to medium-high/high heat and lightly oil the grates.
Place the ribs on the hot grill in a single layer.
Grill for approximately 2–4 minutes per side, depending on the thickness of the ribs.
Turn once the underside develops a deep golden-brown char.
Brush the ribs with the prepared sticky glaze during the final minute of grilling.
Turn and brush the other side with glaze.
Grill for another 30–60 seconds per side, watching carefully because the honey and brown sugar can caramelize quickly.
Remove from the grill when beautifully charred and glazed.
Finish & Serve:
Transfer the ribs to a serving platter and let them rest for 5 minutes.
Brush lightly with a final layer of the sticky glaze.
Sprinkle generously with toasted sesame seeds.
Finish with sliced green onions and a little fresh cilantro if desired.
Serving Suggestions:
Serve these sticky short ribs with:
Steamed jasmine rice
Asian cucumber salad
Kimchi
Stir-fried vegetables
Steamed bok choy
Pickled carrots and daikon
A fresh cabbage slaw. 🔥🥩

Mongolian Garlic Beef & Cabbage 🥩🧄🥬
"Bold, savory, garlicky goodness in every bite"
Serves: 4
Ingredients
For the beef:
500 g ground beef
1 tbsp vegetable or avocado oil
1 small onion, finely sliced
5–6 cloves garlic, finely minced
1 tbsp freshly grated ginger
½ tsp freshly ground black pepper
½ tsp chili flakes, or more to taste
For the cabbage
½ large green cabbage, roughly chopped
1 tbsp sesame oil
½ tsp salt
1–2 green onions, sliced
For the Mongolian sauce
¼ cup soy sauce
2 tbsp hoisin sauce
1½ tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tbsp sesame oil
2 tbsp water
1 tsp cornstarch
½ tsp chili flakes,
For finishing:
2 green onions, thinly sliced
1 tsp sesame seeds
Fresh cilantro or parsley
Sliced red chili
Method
1. Prepare the sauce:
In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and water.
In a separate small bowl, mix the cornstarch with a tablespoon of the sauce mixture until completely smooth. Stir it back into the remaining sauce. Set aside.
2. Prepare the vegetables:
Remove any tough outer cabbage leaves and cut the cabbage into bite-sized pieces. Slice the onion and green onions, and mince the garlic and grate the ginger.
3. Brown the beef:
Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the oil, then the ground beef.
Cook for about 6–8 minutes, breaking the beef into small pieces as it cooks. Let it sit undisturbed for short periods so some of the beef develops deep, golden-brown edges.
Drain excess fat if necessary, leaving a little behind for flavor.
4. Add the aromatics:
Add the sliced onion, garlic, and ginger to the beef.
Stir-fry for 2–3 minutes, until the onion softens and the garlic and ginger become fragrant.
Add the black pepper and chili flakes.
5. Cook the cabbage:
Add the chopped cabbage to the skillet. Drizzle with sesame oil and sprinkle with salt.
Toss everything together and cook for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
You want the cabbage to become tender while still retaining a little texture. For softer cabbage, cover the skillet for 2–3 minutes.
6. Add the Mongolian sauce:
Give the prepared sauce another quick stir, then pour it over the beef and cabbage.
Increase the heat slightly and toss everything together for 2–4 minutes.
The sauce will bubble and thicken, coating the beef and cabbage in a glossy, savory-sweet glaze.
7. Finish the dish:
Turn off the heat and sprinkle generously with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
For extra freshness and color, add chopped cilantro or parsley and a few thin slices of fresh red chili.
To serve:
Serve this Mongolian Garlic Beef & Cabbage hot on its own or over:
Steamed jasmine rice
Fried rice
Egg noodles
Cauliflower rice
Steamed vegetables
Recipe tip:
For the best flavor, brown the beef well before adding the cabbage. Those caramelized little pieces of beef give the finished dish a wonderfully rich, savory taste. 🥩🧄🥬

Grilled Corn and Creamy Cucumber Salad
Servings: 4
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 8 minutes
Total Time: 20 minutes
Ingredients
For the Salad:
4 ears fresh corn, husked
2 cups cucumber, diced (about 1 large English cucumber)
¼ cup red onion, finely diced
¼ cup fresh cilantro, chopped
1–2 fresh red chilies, finely sliced (optional)
For the Creamy Dressing:
½ cup Greek yogurt (or sour cream)
2 tbsp mayonnaise
1 tbsp fresh lime juice
1 tsp lime zest
1 clove garlic, minced
½ tsp smoked paprika
¼ tsp ground cumin
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions
Grill the corn. Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high. Brush corn lightly with oil. Grill 8–10 minutes, turning occasionally, until charred in spots. Let cool slightly, then cut kernels off the cob with a sharp knife.
Make the dressing. Whisk yogurt, mayonnaise, lime juice, lime zest, garlic, smoked paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper together until smooth.
Combine. In a large bowl, toss grilled corn, cucumber, red onion, cilantro, and chilies (if using).
Dress and toss. Pour creamy dressing over the salad and fold gently until everything is evenly coated.
Chill or serve. Serve immediately at room temperature, or chill 30 minutes for a colder, more refreshing salad. Taste and adjust seasoning before serving.
Tips
Char matters — those blackened bits on the corn add smoky depth you can't get any other way.
English cucumber stays crispier and has fewer seeds, but regular cucumber works if you seed it first.
Make ahead — this salad actually improves after an hour in the fridge as the flavors meld.
Variations
Add crumbled cotija or feta for salty richness.
Swap cilantro for fresh mint or dill for a different herb profile.
Stir in diced avocado right before serving for extra creaminess.
