Amy Acton's stepfather's surviving biological daughter spoke to The Daily Mail when they knocked on her door in Ohio, while sobbing. She said: She believed Amy's story, because her father raped her sister more than once (the victim in this 1974 indictment); she remembered Amy lived in a tent with Donna and Cledith; it's been terrible for her family to see Vivek's ad run in Ohio; and she heard rumors her father had victimized even more young girls.
NEW: I obtained the full Trumbull County file for Amy Acton's stepfather's 1974 charge which shows that he was indicted for incest involving his 16-year-old biological daughter in 1973. The sheriff was then unable to locate him to serve him a summons in the county and nothing further happened in the case. Donna Arthur, featured in Vivek Ramaswamy's still-running campaign ad, married Cledith the next year in a neighboring county.

If FAFO wasn't a thing yet then this ad & the blowback would have created it.
Political scientists may get to term a new phenomena: the act of running an ad so bad it directly leads to a down ballot wipeout. Early suggestions include The Ramaswamy Maneuver.

“Give me your pardoned, your indicted, your convicted, your well-connected yearning to walk free. The huddled masses can wait outside, because the lamp is for donors, not refugees.”
Defeated Brazilian presidential candidate Flávio Bolsonaro and his family have landed in Miami after fleeing his country. This comes a day after they were granted United States visas by the Trump administration.

BREAKING: James O'Keefe and Cam Higby have just been charged with identity theft and unlawful voting in Minnesota, charges stemming from hidden camera videos they made in August about the state's vouching system for voter registration. w/ @londonoe nytimes.com/2026/10/28/us/ja…

Besides being nakedly racist and bigoted, this is just hilariously wrong on all levels. I mean, Omar Yaghi won the Nobel Prize in Chemistry last year, and he won the Wolf Prize in 2018. And that's just one example. He also said Arabs don't produce any literature. Last year's winner of the National Book Award was Lebanese writer and painter Rabih Alameddine. The winner in non-fiction? Egyptian-American journalist Omar El Akkad.
RFK: "There's five hundred million Arabs in the world. And yet they don't produce science. They don't win the Novel Prize. They don't win the Fields Prize. They don't win the Wolf Prize. They don't produce literature."

It’s elitist to make fun of the Cheesecake Factory and cool and populist to own a club for billionaires that your fans could never imagine eating at.
Trump: You'll be my guest at Mar a Lago. The problem is that for $5,000, the most you'll be able to buy is a hamburger and maybe a small dessert. I'm not even sure you could buy that. That's not a good place if you're price conscious

Uh, oh. Looks like someone at the WaPo only buys name brand cereal. Why are they insulting the working people like that? What's next, the Cheesecake Factory? Wait...
Generic bagged cereals already come with resealable bags.

It was actually our 250th anniversary. Not that you would know — you spent it with the British.
Paxton: On July 4th, we celebrated the 200th anniversary of our country.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
July 4 2026 marked the 250th anniversary of US independence not the 200th as claimed in the video. Multiple reports placed Paxton in London England that weekend with videos of the trip. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_St… thedailybeast.com/must-win-maga-… ibtimes.co.uk/ken-paxton-lon… washingtonexaminer.com/news/campaigns…
