The worst part about being from a third-world country is watching your potential get consumed by problems that should not exist in the first place.

Probably, the best speech of @TVKVijayHQ Anna i have heard so far. He listed out the list of infra projects in TN for which TN requires the help of Centre to execute. The list was quite comprehensive and he delivered it to the point. The ball is now in centre's court.

My Experience with the RTO: Today vs. 8 Years Ago It was 1996 when the Tamil movie Indian was released. It focused heavily on the deep-rooted corruption within RTO (Regional Transport Office) offices in Tamil Nadu. The movie was supposed to sound the alarm and raise public awareness to help reduce corruption. Instead, bribery became more normalized than ever before. For the past 30 years, it felt like only middlemen could walk into an RTO and actually get anything done. In 2018, when we moved back to India from the US, I had a naive mindset and a strong will not to pay bribes. I had purchased a used tractor for agricultural use. Despite having all the proper paperwork, I had to make at least a dozen trips to the RTO office, spending several months waiting before I finally succeeded. I made it my mission to persist and win. I did eventually succeed in registering the vehicle, but it came at a heavy cost to my time and emotional well-being. At the end of the grueling process, the assistant to the RTO laughed as he signed the papers and asked me to at least buy a flag for ₹50. Since then, I evolved into a "normal" Tamilian because survival comes first. Bribes had simply become a normalized part of life. Even after the 2026 election results and @TVKVijayHQ public stance against bribery, I still didn't voluntarily choose to go to the RTO office myself this time. However, I went today because a middleman told me, "Sir, please go yourself, as middlemen are no longer encouraged inside the offices." To my surprise, I walked in alone with the paperwork from my dealership. The entire process took two and a half hours. All of the staff members were courteous, except for the brake inspector. He reminded me of the movie Indian—he easily could have worn me down, but I persisted, driven by the hope given to us by our CM, @TVKVijayHQ sir. What gave me real hope, though, was the RTO officer himself. As he signed the papers, he explicitly told us, "You will be given a username and password to pay online. Please do not pay any money to anyone else." I never imagined I would hear those words inside an RTO office in my lifetime. Today, I got the work done with absolutely zero bribes. A huge thanks to Thiru. Vijay Avl and the people for electing him as our CM. I will write a separate post soon detailing where process reforms are still required based on my experience. Many British-era rules still exist; changing them will reduce corruption to an even greater extent. @raavanamavan7 @CMOTamilnadu @VigneshTvkCbe @arunraajkg @BussyAnand @RameshOffcl @makkal_saatchi

I like it that they have mentally made peace with the incident and found happiness in their current lives. A large part of life is in finding peace and letting go of things you don’t have control over.

Rajni is clearly jealous. For years, he played the “I might enter politics” card, created a myth and fooled TN people all over. He also believed that no actor after MGR could ever succeed in TN politics. Vijay has proven both of those beliefs completely wrong. The shock Rajni is feeling right now is no different from what DMK are going through. Both got hit by the same reality check. Rajni fans trying to distract everyone with the online negativity gimmick from the one simple fact that their hero is depressed because his political bluff has been called. The game he played for decades does not work anymore, and deep down, Rajni knows it himself.
Rajini wasn't this down during any of his movie promotion speeches or in particular the entire program. Insta fullah indhala jealous nu solli oru valli aakitaainga. Anils ku enna daan prechanaiyo therla.

Karthik Sharma was just too good man. I am telling you he is going to be better next season. CSK can’t miss reaping the rewards. He should be our permanent No.4 - we have not seen a CSK player to read spin like him in so long…
Anyone who says release Kartik Sharma doesn’t understand cricket. The way he played last few games just proves that he is actually an elite batter. Can take down both spin and pace. Too early but bats like young Kohli

Two players from small towns, standing in the same frame. One became the most successful and respected player of all time, while the other is yet to reach that status. The reason why one is respected and the other is just another player lies in this picture - it’s The Character. One stayed humble even after winning every possible trophy, while the other is flying high despite winning nothing.

I think it's important to not lose Fleming's experience. Yes last two seasons haven't gone to plan. But just replacing him will feel like removing something core from CSK's DNA - something that set us apart. I would still try to see if Fleming can move up to a director role.

My favourite takeaway from #Vijay's debut CM speech is his stern advice to his own #TVK party members about not succumbing to corruption or vices of any kind. And the proclamation that there is just ONE power centre. Important to set ground rules. It serves as guidelines as to what should be expected, and acts as good measures of what is done.
