When you’re building a platform, scaling it takes leaders who have done it before. Which is why I’m so excited Ajay Mittal is joining as our first-ever Chief Business Officer. Ajay has decades of experience scaling some of the most beloved global consumer brands, including Doordash, and he’s bringing that to Hims & Hers to help us become an irreplaceable part of our customers' everyday lives. Just as important is how Ajay approaches the work. He loves tough problems and sweats the details customers actually feel, always with the person on the other side of the experience top of mind. He’s a huge asset to the leadership team and I’m excited to partner with him on what comes next for us. Welcome Ajay! news.hims.com/newsroom/welco…

HHS just took a step toward the exact future that we’ve built for – bringing peptides out of the gray market, with clinician oversight and quality starting at the source. We’ve taken it one step further by building a US-based supply chain and infrastructure that our customers can trust. This is encouraging progress. More to come.
At Hims & Hers, we’re encouraged to see the administration make meaningful progress towards expanding access to peptide therapies through this draft interim policy. As more and more Americans seek these treatments, it is critical to have regulated channels, clinician oversight, quality standards, and transparency - none of which exist in the current gray market. Our goal has always been to define what responsible access to care looks like. We have spent years building the infrastructure we need in our very own US-based peptide manufacturing facility, developing dosing protocols with clinical experts, and setting up frameworks to better understand these emerging treatments. We'll keep working to bring these treatments within reach of those who need them, with more news to come soon.

Just wrapped a meeting with OIRA on HHS’s Interim Access Policy for Compounding Using Certain Peptides, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to discuss what regulated access to peptides should look like. Let’s be clear: Countless Americans are already using peptides right now and the current environment isn’t serving them. Most are buying from unregulated gray markets, unvetted online retailers, or even at corner stores. They’re often getting products labeled ‘for research only’ or ‘for animal use,’ made entirely overseas under conditions no one can verify. These channels provide no real clinical oversight, no quality standards, and no record of what happened to the patient. Peptide therapies hold meaningful potential to help millions of Americans live healthier lives, but only if they come with responsible, regulated pathways to care. Patients should be able to access peptides through licensed healthcare professionals providing ongoing clinical support, and US-based compounding, with active ingredients sourced from FDA-registered facilities. That’s how we’re building at Hims & Hers. That’s the standard for access we want to help set nationwide. We appreciate the administration’s leadership in opening this path towards regulated peptide access, and look forward to seeing the interim policy move ahead.

Hers has landed in Australia and expanded in the UK! 🇦🇺🇬🇧 When we launched @wearehers, it was because we knew women were long overdue for healthcare that was actually built for their lives. 8 years later, we’re reaching women all over the world. Not just with a single category or treatment, but with an entire health experience. One that’s simple. Personal. Designed with them at the center. And we’re just scratching the surface of what we can do for women everywhere. Read more from Dr. Shepherd here: news.hims.com/newsroom/innov…

Today, I’m so proud to share that we're a strategic investor in Arboretum LifeSciences, a next-generation molecular information company. They’re combining genetic testing and AI to scale precision medicine to more conditions and more people. Since meeting the Arboretum team, I have been looking for ways to be a part of getting their innovation into more hands for one simple reason. Giving people the tools to understand their risk before symptoms develop is how you transform a sickcare system into a healthcare system. Understanding your own risk should be a normal part of care, not the exception. It’s the future of health that I believe in and it’s what Hims & Hers is all about. Health that gets smarter over time, adapts with you, and puts actionable information in your hands. This goes beyond rare diseases and can fundamentally change how common conditions like heart disease, diabetes, and neurodegeneration are managed. Today, Arboretum is working with health systems and their providers, and I’m excited for the day that this kind of innovation extends beyond the traditional system (more to come here from us). Congrats to Anthony, Clare, and the entire Arboretum team! arboretum.bio/news/arboretum…

This morning, we rang the Opening Bell at the @NYSE to celebrate 5 years of being listed. But we’re also marking our next phase of growth. When we made the decision to take the company public, it was an intentional choice to put the company in a high-stakes arena that requires us to be excellent at both delivering on quarterly targets and meeting a long-term vision. We also knew that some of the world’s most influential companies, like Amazon and Google, made the same choice soon after their founding because they knew they didn’t just have a valuable business. They had a vision to change an entire industry. For us, that’s truer today than it was in January 2021 (and we’re still in the early innings). A huge thanks to the entire Hims & Hers team, who made this moment possible and who will be the reason we change what healthcare looks and feels like around the world.

Healthcare built for real life requires a complete reinvention of the current experience. Not an add-on feature or a retrofit. Starting today, we’re launching a fundamental reimagining of what it means to get people closer to feeling great. @wearehers weight loss members are the first ones to feel it today, and we’re planning to bring it to all of our members soon. Watch this space. We’re just getting started.
In healthcare, AI usually sits outside of care. It can answer a question, but it doesn't know your treatment plan or your doctor. Today, that changes for @wearehers weight loss members. Our new doctor-led, AI-native care experience puts women, their providers, Care Teams, and AI in one ongoing conversation. This is intelligence embedded at every step of the care experience – personally tailored to track progress over time and help women reach their goals on their own terms. youtu.be/odKIypnitss Read more below, including important disclaimers.

Hims Chief Medical Officer Anant Vinjamoori, MD on why frontline clinicians — who've watched real patients get better in real time — deserve a real seat at the table as the government weighs its decision on peptides, following last week's PCAC meeting: bit.ly/4xahL2B
Frontline clinicians have prescribed peptides, like the ones under FDA review, for years and watched real patients get better in real time. That experience is exactly why I am so pleased that the FDA PCAC recommended moving forward on the majority of these peptides last week, and why the government should take that real-world clinical experience seriously as it finalizes its own decision. Large randomized controlled trials may never happen for many of these compounds, because they're already known and unpatentable. Trials can cost hundreds of millions of dollars, and companies may only be motivated to undertake that spend when a patent and years of exclusive pricing are waiting on the other side. That math simply doesn't work for these products. I wrote more about why clinical experience deserves real weight and why we should strive to find a new path forward as we expand access to peptides in USA Today: usatoday.com/story/opinion/v…
