So usually at the start of baseball season I have a Major League night with my brothers. But this year I have to fly solo.

Great to have Lonnie in town for the first pitch. He caught the last out of the 2016 ALDS and hit a big homer off David Price

We are saddened to hear of the passing of former Pirates pitcher Sam McDowell.
Sam was a Pittsburgh native, a graduate of Central Catholic High School, and pitched for the Pirates in 1975, his final season after 15 years.
He made his home in Pittsburgh, was an active member of the Pirates Alumni group, and will be deeply missed. 🖤💛

The Cleveland Guardians are deeply saddened by the loss of Sam McDowell. The six-time All-Star spent 11 of his 15 MLB seasons in Cleveland, and in 2006 he was inducted into Cleveland’s hall of fame.
Our thoughts go out to his family and friends during this time.

We are deeply saddened by the passing of dear friend Sam McDowell. A strikeout king. His life a story of redemption;after extensive education/training, Sam was a counselor for athletes suffering from addiction and depression. Condolences to family/friends 🙏🏻

For the third straight season, the fourth time in the past five seasons and the 14th time in 32 seasons ...
Cleveland has won the AL Central title. The Guardians get a first-round bye and will host Game 1 of the ALDS next Saturday at Progressive Field.
My daughter is competing at the @CleGuardians camp Champions Day at League Park. Last year she wrote a report on Alta Weiss. Now she’s playing on the field. 😊
