In light of the PHP vulnerability sweeping the universe today this couldn’t be more timely. We’ve built a platform with governance built in designed to run in your VPN away from evil. Hit me up for a demo and more details.

In this era of artificial intelligence, it is becoming urgent to distinguish human art from what machines produce. There is an ontological difference, even before an aesthetic one, between art and what a machine can generate through statistical calculation based on millions of images created by others. Algorithms lack the spark of humanity. For this reason, the Church wishes to renew an alliance with artists and cultural institutions to safeguard our humanity.
Every engineer I've managed told me lines of code was a meaningless metric. I agreed and fought management over it. Now my timeline is nothing but line counts. I'm tired, boss.
25 years ago when the towers were hit, I was asleep - It was 11pm on Guam.
By the time I woke up the next morning, the news as lit up with coverage and the military base I lived on went into immediate lockdown.
For an entire week.
Everything changed that day.

The 90s dream of information as rich multimedia content is here with agents and artifacts. They're changing how people make decisions and get things done. We regularly generate and collaborate on several artifacts a day in the course of our work at Valet.
My daughter received a @dollyslibrary book today.
I got teary. A thousand thank yous to @DollyParton for not only enriching my family, but so many across the world.
Forget this tokenmaxxxing business.
I’m here when we finally start having the tokenrightsizing conversation.
This is, without a doubt, the best endorsement for @grok that exists, ever.
@vmg is the standard to strive for as a serious engineer. If it’s good and works for him, then it’s worth giving a serious look at.
I know I am.
Seriously though, this is how I usually do these blog posts: I write down and edit a pretty final version of the post by hand, and leave placeholders that explain what the visualization should look like. Then I just pass it on to Grok 4.6 and let it cook!
I used to use Fable for visualizations (e.g. in the Indexed Grep blog post), which also does a very good job at interactive SVGs, but it had the very bad habit of going "I did your visualization and AKSHUALLY also fixed some of your English grammar because it seemed off". ffffffffffuu please dont fucking do that.
After testing 4.6 here and looking at the quality of the viz and how well it follows instructions (i.e. leaves my text alone, tyvm), I'm not going back!
Setup the Mrs with a pair of @headamame headphones this week. Again, she picked out the colors on these Experience 50mm drivers.
We tried a lot of combinations before landing on this set.
Got the Mrs setup with some @DepositionSound FDMGeos. She spent two solid weeks picking out the color scheme, and is very pleased with both the aesthetic and sound quality.

I have to say, this interface for the FlashKit looks really cool

It's open source with self-contained binaries for Linux, macOS, and Windows on the releases page. Huge thanks to @krikzz for the hardware and the original client that made it all possible. 👇

The part that genuinely surprised me: I cross-compiled the entire app including GUI/TUI from GitHub Actions runners. Self-contained single-file binaries for every desktop OS. It's shockingly sick. Go-esque, even. .NET has come a long way. 🙌
