FUNSO DOHERTY EXPOSES THE PYRAMID OF AGBEROISM AND MULTI-LAYERED TAXATION ON LAGOS ROADS; THE PYRAMID. The Lagos State Governorship Candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), HE Funso Doherty, has drawn attention to what he describes as an entrenched system of agberoism and multiple layers of taxation operating across Lagos roads, raising serious questions about who benefits from the system and the burden it places on residents, motorists, traders, and transport operators. Here's is the pyramid. According to Funso Doherty, the problem goes beyond the activities of individual street-level collectors. He argues that agberoism has evolved into a deeply entrenched structure, allegedly sustained by political interests and used as a channel for extracting revenue from ordinary Lagosians. His position raises a fundamental question: why has a problem that continues to affect the daily lives and economic activities of Lagos residents remained unresolved? Doherty argues that meaningful reform requires confronting the structures that sustain this system, rather than merely addressing its visible operators. Lagos deserves a transparent, accountable, and properly regulated transport and revenue collection system; one that protects livelihoods, eliminates arbitrary levies, and allows businesses and commuters to thrive without unnecessary financial burdens. The people of Lagos deserve answers, accountability, and a government that puts their welfare above political interests. The conversation about a cleaner, safer, and more accountable Lagos must begin with confronting the structures that undermine its progress. O TI YÁ! A New Lagos Is Possible. The New Way Has Come.

Same thing the Italian Consulate in Lagos is doing to my brother, the passport of his wife has been withheld for over 7 months now without any proper explanation to why they are holding her passport.
Today makes it 11 weeks since i submitted my Ireland visa application to represent @cardiacomm at a Health conference organised by Global heart hub. Till date, there has been no update on their portal beyond Application Recieved. All attempt to reach the embassy has been futile, 1stly, emails bounce back as their inbox is full, phone call doesn't connect anywhere. why the unnecessary delay and lack of respect to applicants. cc @IrlEmbNigeria @NigeriaMFA @Ojukwu_Bianca

Buy Now Pay Later is just too difficult in this market. The likes of @CDcareNG may have struck gold with 'Pay Small Small': longer repayment plans, with sold items as collateral. In this 2022 interview, CEO Oluwatobi Odukoya explains the model they still largely use today.

Not supporting anyone, but this mentality is part of why our politicians end up doing rubbish. You see a politician abandon a bad road people use every day to build a flyover nobody really needs. You don't copy blindly. You study your audience and their actual needs. What's the durability of plastic chairs in a public school? Let's be realistic. Who will maintain them? You expect them to buy chairs today and, in four months, have them all damaged, leaving students without seats again? Before you judge a decision, do a feasibility study. Look at the needs, the environment, and the long-term sustainability.
Verydarkman, do you see what a school seat looks like? At this modern time, you still put outdated school seats in a newly constructed school. Is that not màdnez? Your excuse is that people and students will st£al it and take it to their house. Like really? What an excuse! 250M with those chairs I used when am in primary school vs modern present day reality school chairs Let’s be civil here na Compare and contrast

“I went to LASUTH, and they said there were no beds. I went inside and saw that there were not even up to 50 beds. I asked if I could bring a bed from home, but they said that wasn’t the kind of bed they needed. They gave him a drip in the car and told us to go look for another hospital. We went back to the private hospital we had left and spent ₦30 million. I mistakenly slept for five minutes and woke up to see my son struggling to breathe after they had removed his oxygen. Nigeria finally happened to me. This government is not doing well.” —A shattered mother cries out in tears about the pain and agony of an incompetent government run by useless lunatics who have no value for human life.
