Was watching a 1977 edition of Mastermind on BBC Four last night. The breadth of knowledge of the classics, Bible, history, art, etc was astonishing. The questions were extremely tough. Despite more people having degrees than ever, our society is genuinely as dumb as rocks.
"You get to keep €700 of your own money next year" and I ask myself why this creep even has a say in what happens to my money. Are we supposed to be grateful?

Michael Healy Rae has received 1.43 million in state payments for providing accomodation to Ukrainian refugees since 2022.
He lied to the Dáil by saying he resigned his ministry in solidarity with the fuel protesters and has now admitted it was because his brother broke the post election deal he did with FF/FG.
And the people of Kerry don't mind because he'll keep fixing the potholes.

It's a scandal that these media companies spend your money in order to try and influence how you think.
Virgin Media received 3 million euro worth of state grants from Coimisiún na Meain last year.
They would never think of doing a documentary on how immigration has negatively impacted the economy or society, which is why it is so galling to see them propagandise the immigration scam in Ireland.

I spoke to a woman in her 70s in Clare last week. She was disgusted that a relative's child had lost out on a place on the national swim team to an American import. He had Irish ancestry allowing him to compete for Ireland. I asked her opinion on Rhasidat Adeleke taking a place from an Irish girl and she said, "She was born in Ireland".
I asked why the American lad's Irish blood didn't matter but Adeleke's lack of any Irish blood made her more Irish. She muttered something vague as her eyes went dim and she retreated to the RTE News jingle playing on loop in her mind.
Please visit an elderly relative today and rescue them from the elder abuse being pushed on them by RTE.
