I have spoken out against anti-Muslim hate in the Michigan Senate race. I will speak out just as loudly when the target is Jewish people.
Let me state a little-known fact: ISRAEL GETS LESS THAN 0.1 PERCENT OF THE FEDERAL BUDGET. That’s less than one tenth of a percent!
But there is an ad running that tells voters they can’t afford groceries because the United States gives so much money to Israel. In reality, the United States spends money in and on countries all around the world – but this ad singles out the Jewish state. The ad is as dangerous as it is dishonest.
You can disagree with how the United States spends money abroad. But telling hungry families that the Jewish state is the reason they are suffering is wrong and shameful.
Blaming Jews for people’s problems is an old story. Anybody who has read the last century of history knows where it leads. It is a dark pathway.
This ad is anti-Jewish hate and should come down immediately. Abdul El-Sayed should denounce it today.
The @nytimes appears to have falsified a quote by Benjamin Netanyahu. @CAMERA4Truth has requested a correction or - if it can provide it - substantiation for the quote. I wrote about it here: camera.org/article/new-york-…

Replying to @VanJones68
@VanJones68 has been an island of sanity in a sea of madness.
A friend and ally.
@BlueSquare
Thank you @bariweiss for doing journalism

Maybe a two state solution would help

What's with this obsession with the Jewish state that we don’t have for any other people in any other situation? 🤔

Jews leaving the Democratic Party are reacting not to criticism of Israel but to being told that our rights are subordinate. And maybe we’re acting like that because we have a lot of evidence that in the Democratic Party, today, the civil rights of Jews do not matter.
There was an immediate tension between the “free speech” rights of anti-Israel protesters and the civil rights of Jews, and choices needed to be made. And at every point the Denocratic Party prioritized the free speech rights of the protesters over the civil rights of Jews.
Democrats could have said that they were uncomfortable with the carnage in Gaza but really Jewish students at Columbia had nothing to do with all this and these college protests were getting out of hand and btw why were so many foreign students involved? But instead Democrats made the explicitly choice to frame the issue as one of free speech, and if that came at the cost of the civil rights of Jewish students, well, that was very unfortunate but there was nothing to be done.
Democrats could have said that they agreed that the situation in the West Bank was very bad but you cannot protest outside of a synagogue no matter how vehemently you disagree with what’s going on inside that synagogue, because that violates the civil rights of Jewish people. But instead it became a referendum of the free speech rights of the protesters, with no thought to the rights of the people trying to access their house of worship.
We’re leaving because we’re constantly being told that our rights do not matter. And if there’s one thing Jews have learned over the past 2000 years, it’s how to know when it’s time to leave.

🧵 CBS’s @60Minutes has presented a wild claim that should dismantle the notion that @LesleyRStahl is a credible journalist.
Stahl recently reported Israeli settlers and "sheep have taken over 20% of the West Bank" across 200 farms. Where did CBS get this figure?
CAMERA's @aarongoren & @dmlitman investigated. 👇
Where was this fucking energy with Graham Platner, @NBCNews ?
🔥WOW. Impressive follow-up from @LlamasNBC. Now THAT is how you hold candidates accountable and Tom does it regardless of party.
Fantastic
HOLD THE PRESS: NBC holds Abdul El-Sayed’s feet to the fire on his family’s ties to the Muslim Brotherhood.
He CLEARLY panicked and lashed out at the reporter.
NBC: “When people ask you a question, they do expect the truth.”
EL-SAYED (flustered): “Are you insinuating that somehow I was lying?!”
This is so good. He’s panicking and his lies are catching up to him.
A rare act of journalism from NBC News.
On Oct 7, Hamas, PIJ & other terrorists invaded Israel with anti-tank missiles, RPGs, missiles, explosives & UAVs in addition to Kalashnikovs, modified AK-47s & other firearms.
Reducing them to "gunmen" is outrageous, and it's time we demand the @nytimes stop sanitizing them.
This is the person @GovKathyHochul and @TishJames endorsed.
UNFORGIVABLE
This day is profoundly painful for so many New Yorkers. It marks three years since the horrific war crimes of October 7. On that day, Hamas killed more than 1,100 Israelis and abducted 251 others. We grieve alongside our many friends and neighbors who still carry that unthinkable loss.
The suffering did not begin nor end that day. It instead continued through the Israeli government’s devastating, ongoing genocide in Gaza, in which it has killed more than 74,000 Palestinians—including more than 21,000 children. Even since the so-called ceasefire, more than 1,400 Palestinians have been killed. That suffering has intensified with every Israeli bomb dropped on ambulances waiting outside hospitals, every drone strike targeting a residential building or journalist, and every shipment of food aid turned away at a border crossing. Many New Yorkers are reckoning with this unbearable grief, and we mourn alongside them – all while knowing that our tax dollars fund these war crimes.
Three years later, we must refuse to accept a world in which occupation and apartheid continue, where war crimes are met with impunity, and our federal government continues its complicity with every arms shipment.
To honor the dead, we must fight for a world in which every person can live with freedom, safety, and dignity.

Chilling. It’s what other former hostages have told me too. I will never forget asking Yarden Roman-Gat whether her captors ever discussed the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Did they talk about the possibility of two states? Her answer: "Two states? No. One state. Islamic state."
🛑Former Hamas hostage Avinatan Or recounts what one of his Hamas captors told him just before his release:
“Go home. Say hello to your father, to your mother. Meet your friends. Then pack a bag and go to Europe. You know why? Because we’re going to do October 7 again. As long as there is one Jew in the Land of Israel, we will massacre you again and again and again.”
Avinatan looked at him and answered:
“I’m not leaving.”
Three years after October 7, listen carefully to those words. This is what Hamas told an Israeli hostage after more than two years in captivity.
And Avinatan’s answer says everything:
This is our home. We are not leaving
