COVID-19 circulates year-round, and surges can happen at any time. Prevention shouldn't be limited to periods of increased transmission. Whether you're trying to avoid infection or prevent spreading COVID-19 to others, taking precautions matters. Wearing a well-fitting respirator, improving indoor air quality, and staying home when sick can help reduce transmission and protect our communities. #COVID #COVID19 #LongCOVID #PublicHealth #InfectionPrevention

Flávio Bolsonaro is the eldest son of Jair Bolsonaro, Brazil’s disgraced former president. He won a surprise 47% of the vote in the first round of the country’s presidential election, making him the favourite in this weekend’s run-off. His policies may seem more moderate, but look closer and it’s clear that he’s a man cut from his father’s cloth bit.ly/4eKbRyf

Lula vs. Bolsonaro: I was held in solitary confinement for 1,901 days for revealing the truth about the U.S. government's killings and espionage, including against Brazil and its industries. Out of power, Lula fought for my freedom. In power, Lula discussed my persecution with Pope Francis, who decided to meet with my family and offer help. After my release, Lula and I met in Rome to mourn the Holy Father's passing. Lula was kind to my children and asked for nothing in return. In contrast, Jair and Flávio Bolsonaro did nothing and said nothing. Yet without the ability to say no to Washington and Tel Aviv, there can be no domestic policy, only foreign instructions. Those orders are always the same: "Expand our theft of resources and wages, and keep your mouths shut about us murdering children." Sellouts will surrender everything in exchange for a cut, even their own tongues.

The widespread acceptance of the idea that 'Covid is over' while people are still constantly getting Covid over and over again.
What’s the weirdest thing society accepts as normal?

The Digital Parasites - aka Data center - are destroying everything in their pathway! These companies do not care about anything but their power trip! They hate humanity and think that the entire planet only exists to provide for their delusions of worshipping a stochastic parrot
This was once a forest in Finland of more than 250,000 trees. Google chopped it down illegally to build another one of their AI Monstrosities. The sooner they are all bankrupt the better.

Well, well, well… For the record, the whole “Covid will evolve to become milder & more benign over time” thing was always a lie. This raises a lot of concerning questions. I would like to once again point out we have no idea what we are doing.
This is a very interesting study from Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center. It suggests that SARS-CoV-2 may be evolving in a way that makes it increasingly difficult for the human immune system to recognize the virus in the first place—not simply harder for existing antibodies to neutralize it. So now one has to wonder whether if fewer naïve human B cells can recognize an evolved virus, will the vaccines even work? Will they have a difficult time recruiting genuinely new B-cell specificities? Doesn't this seem like an issue worth considering @FDADrugs @FDA @CDC @NIHDirector_Jay?
