BREAKING: The FLM-136 LUCAS one-way attack drone launched by the U.S. Navy’s Task Force Falcon Strike against Bandar Abbas, southern Iran, today have been intended to draw fire from Iranian air defenses and reveal the current positions of their batteries ahead of anticipated U.S.-Israeli military strikes on Iran. By engaging and shooting down the drone, Iranian air-defense units have exposed their current positions to the U.S. Navy.

An amazing view of AH-64s from the 12th CAB’s “Viper Battalion” lying in ambush, hovering just a few feet above the ground during a training exercise (Circa 2020). Attack helicopter crews train hard to hug the terrain, using trees, ridgelines and folds in the ground to mask their approach from enemy radar and SHORAD. Then, at the right moment, they pop up, unleash their missiles and disappear back into cover. It may not look like much, but Western attack helicopters are deadly ambush predators, especially when hunting armour.

🇺🇦🇷🇺‼️ Only 3 out of 100 Russian Lancet loitering munitions reportedly reached their targets during a three-month campaign against Ukrainian forces, according to Pavel Gubarev, a former pro-Russian separatist leader and veteran of Russia’s war in Ukraine. Writing on Telegram, Gubarev claimed that Russia’s Sparta drone unit launched 100 Lancet munitions on one section of the front beginning in mid-June. According to his account, just three struck their targets, damaging a Ukrainian self-propelled artillery system, an infantry dugout and, remarkably, a shawarma stand. The remaining 97 Lancets were reportedly intercepted by Ukrainian counter-drone systems or neutralized through electronic warfare. These figures have not been independently verified. 🔥 A reported success rate of just 3% would represent a serious setback for a weapon Russia has relied on to attack Ukrainian artillery and other valuable battlefield targets. The account is particularly notable because it comes from a pro-Russian figure rather than a Ukrainian military source. If accurate, it suggests that Ukraine’s expanding use of interceptor drones and electronic warfare is substantially reducing the effectiveness of Russian loitering munitions in that sector. The fact that one of the three reported hits was a shawarma stand makes the claimed results even more striking. See the latest updates with us: @NSTRIKE1231

In 2019, 11 RR (DOGRA) @Whiteknight_IA noticed Sheetal's extraordinary spirit & adopted her. By May 2020, she became part of various Sadbhavana activities organized for youth. Her inspiring journey caught attention of Mrs Meghna Girish @megirish2001, who took the initiative to get Sheetal artificial hands. (2/6)

We remember Tom Skerritt, who has died at 93. As Commander Mike “Viper” Metcalf in Top Gun (1986), he brought quiet authority and humanity to an enduring portrayal of naval aviation. He later returned to a naval role as Captain Bill Rhodes in Tears of the Sun (2003). An Air Force veteran, Skerritt’s commitment to those who served extended beyond the screen. He co-founded the Red Badge Project, helping veterans find their voices and share their experiences through storytelling. Our condolences to his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched.

Insane footage of Operation Veles (god of the underworld) in Ukraine. Thousands of miles of pipes offered an underground world Ukraine is mastering/using to escaping the drone death zones to still maneuver/adapt. From underground guides, barricades for underground machine gun battles, tunnel vehicles for logistics/sped surrendering to the rear, toxic gas exposure, infiltration tactics. I've known members of the Khartiia Brigade for years, their innovations for training, robotics, now underground warfare, historic. @wolfejosh @SapperGeologist @traysartech @yadinsoffer @asherdigs youtube.com/watch?v=iGyuC3xH…

Ukraine has a 2-week development to combat fielding weapons cycle⬇️ >>RAZOR-01 CEO Rob Mott said the company arrived in Ukraine two weeks after the invasion and watched fixed-band jammers fall behind an enemy that changed frequencies faster than any product cycle, so it worked with Ukrainian partners to build the answer at the front.
A U.S. Air Force Pararescue squadron has fielded four vehicle-mounted Cipher electronic warfare systems from Arizona-based RAZOR-01 to counter evolving drone tactics. The modular jammer uses an 18-channel architecture so operators can swap transmission pathways in the field, addressing fixed-band systems that struggle when drones shift frequencies. Manufactured in Arizona without restricted parts, Cipher was developed with combat feedback from Ukraine. RAZOR-01 CEO Rob Mott said the company arrived in Ukraine two weeks after the invasion and watched fixed-band jammers fall behind an enemy that changed frequencies faster than any product cycle, so it worked with Ukrainian partners to build the answer at the front. No further operational results have been detailed. #USAF #Pararescue #RAZOR01 #Cipher #CounterUAS #DroneWars

❗️Near Kupyansk, the Ukrainian and Russian Armed Forces are fighting in Soviet-era pipelines. The distance between soldiers is sometimes 4 meters, - WSJ ▪️Russian troops are using underground pipes to cover kilometers undetected, penetrate Ukrainian lines, and launch drones from there. On the surface, such movements are virtually impossible due to constant drone surveillance. ▪️At first, the Ukrainian Armed Forces attempted to destroy the pipe exits with artillery and aircraft, but the Russians dug new holes. As a result, the Ukrainian troops began full-scale underground fighting. ▪️In pipes approximately 1.2 meters in diameter, the Russians set up machine gun positions, barricades, and even rooms where they could remain for months. The Ukrainian Armed Forces are using ground drones armed with explosives and remote-controlled machine guns against them, killing the enemy and taking prisoners. ▪️Some Ukrainian fighters admit they prefer to fight underground, as drones are a constant threat above ground. ▪️According to Ukrainian commanders, Russia is already training special units for underground warfare.

NEW: Rosneft deep dive by Bloomberg News + Officials at Russia’s largest oil producer are concerned that even a few more months of the war with Ukraine could leave lasting damage across the business. + One of Rosneft’s biggest refineries, Ryazan, has been shut for more than half the time since it was first hit by Ukraine in May and has run well below full capacity when operating, according to damage assessments seen by Bloomberg. + Another, Syzran, has spent much of the past six months either completely shut or operating at less than a third of capacity, according to data reviewed by Bloomberg. The Tuapse refinery has been offline since April. + Ukraine is conducting repeat strikes on the refineries as soon as repairs are completed or nearing completion. The need to repeatedly repair damaged equipment is straining operations and causing costs to pile up to levels that Rosneft officials have privately warned cannot be sustained long-term. + Some plants have deliberately slowed repairs as a result, stretching work that should take days into weeks, according to people familiar with the matter. + Efforts to protect the facilities with shipping containers, nets and steel cables have proved ineffective against swarms of drones, company plans show. + The damage is particularly difficult to repair when strikes hit complex secondary units, whose parts would previously have been sourced from the West. It means relying on Russian-made copies and Chinese imports that can take months to obtain and are not always compatible with existing machinery. + It’s put Rosneft into financial trouble. Even before the ramping up of Ukraine’s drone campaign, the company saw a “perfect storm” for its finances. Since then, its profits are down and debt is rising despite what should have been a big windfall from the Iran war. + Moscow Credit Bank, which is linked to Rosneft, is showing signs of distress with $8 billion of problem loans. It highlights how both Russia’s energy and banking sectors are coming under strain at the same time, a dynamic causing concern to Russian finance officials. All this and much more in the full story here: bloomberg.com/news/features/…
