I made a Mac productivity app! ✨SUBSTAGE ✨ …puts a command bar underneath your Finder windows and lets you use natural language to convert media, manage files, perform calculations and more! 🌐👉selkie.design/substage/

Suuuuper impressed with Mercury 3 from @_inception_ai. It's the perfect fit for Substage.app, I'm considering making it the default model.

Eeek, just discounted my Mac app Substage by 60%! (It's a little command bar for Finder: select files, type what you want. Common commands like “convert to png” and “zip” skip AI entirely for speed.) Try it maybe? substage.app

Hmmm I’m sure I’ll lust after this but honestly I’m not sure I need another display in my house, especially with easily distracted kids. Our digital picture frame already draws their attention enough!

Very curious to try it on an actual hardware device but at least in the simulator Hour by Hour is feeling pretty cool on iPhone Duo!

In the simulator at least I often see a black screen while it refreshes the view onto different screens / poses. I wonder whether that ever/often happens on real hardware. The way they presented it, it looked magical seeing both screens react so quickly and work in tandem.

My favourite new feature is Rules, allowing powerful customisation - for example with a trigger word like "website" you can say "when resizing images for my website, make them 1000px wide" Here's another example which adds details about how to optimise a video for YouTube upload

I've also added a much requested Ideas & Actions panel, which helps demonstrate everything that Substage can do, while allowing quick access to frequent commands that can be favourited and reused.

A fun photo import feature was inspired by @JustMeDevin's wonderful Crouton: snap a photo of a physical schedule such as a conference program, and Hour by Hour imports it and lets you follow along.
