Anticipating the blitz, dialing up a screen, and actually making it work? Am I dreaming?! Somebody pinch me.

Oh wow another Broncos drive killed by a red zone penalty!

China calls it a roller coaster. In Kansas, we just call it I-70 on the way to Denver.

Time for more uniform discourse: 1. How would purple helmets look with purple jerseys and white or silver pants? Doubt they’d go all-purple. Can someone mock it up? 2. Now that we’ve seen white facemasks, when do we get them on the white helmets?

Anytime tackling gets this bad, puppies die.

Arizona State has found something with Cardae Mack on GH Counter. Gap scheme is where he thrives. Once Mack gets to the second level, he turns into a bowling ball. Breaking tackles, running through contact and punishing defenders.

Sources: Peyton Manning not expected to be candidate for Colts GM job

The Colts have not approached Peyton Manning about their vacant GM job, nor would the ex-QB be expected to be interested in the position, according to sources.

Bad weekend for guys named Dave. K-State will now face two new head coaches in 2027.

This felt inevitable, especially after yesterday. Have to think Joe Klanderman will be named interim head coach.

And they leaned on him too much. With 1:31 left, there was plenty of time to avoid playing hero ball. The Big 12 will still have one unbeaten team.

Football is king. Maybe baseball wouldn’t drag so much if the season ended in September.

What a nightmare for Fox. It's 6:35 on Saturday evening and the World series pre-game (with lots of high priced advertising) was supposed to start 30 minutes ago. Instead Fox is stuck in a double overtime college football game between BYU and UCF that NOBODY cares about.

If Iowa State loses out, you have to fire Jimmy Rogers after 1 year. In realignment era without SEC or B1G money, you cannot afford to suck at the sport that's 75-80% of the conference TV deals. The team looks less competitive every week and the team will to compete is gone.

Dylan Villarouel pulled a Leroy Harris this week, and Arizona State’s players noticed. You can’t say, “…we’re going to come in and take over their trap,” and not expect that to get back to them.
