if you still have a ring camera, destroy it. they're not going to use it to find your stupid dog. they're going to use it to hunt down people.
Here's that Ring #SuperBowl commercial:

DHS reportedly sent a takedown notice -- of some sort -- to a domain registrar demanding that it disable a website allowing people to search leaked information about DHS officials. The website, ICEpick, is now offline.

The Ohio governor’s race has been roiled by an attack ad featuring Democratic candidate Amy Acton’s mother calling her estranged daughter a liar. But newly obtained court records reveal that Acton’s mother showed signs of instability in recent years. nbcnews.com/news/us-news/ad-…

“We’ve built software to track Wikipedia editors,” says the head of the ADL. We have an investigation publishing soon about pro-Israel manipulation of Wikipedia, and he just blurts it out
ADL CEO Jonathan Greenblatt: "I have 45 people at ADL—full-time analysts—45 full-time intelligence analysts tracking the bad guys across social media, across AI, across video games, podcasts, crypto, you name it." "[We've built] software to track Wikipedia [editors]…"

Americans are immune to propoganda, they just on average think 21% of Americans are trans and 27% are Muslim for no real reason
I never want to hear about how Americans are propagandized again. We learn about the founding fathers' slaves in middle school, meanwhile grown ass adults in China think Mao was under democratic constraints somehow.

Radio Watermelon spaces are possibly the only place on the internet where you can listen live to ordinary Palestinians in Gaza talking about their lives under genocide. Tune in on Wednesday! And make sure to follow @RadioWatermelon
Great, the elections in the terrorist zionist state are over. If you think that brings any positive lasting change for the Palestinians then you are mistaken. Come and listen to families in Gaza and hear for yourselves if they are more optimistic because of the election results. See you on Wednesday. teapawt.net/i/spaces/1AKEmvEXRZvKL

Lobbies (organised groups seeking to influence public decisions) are not inherently corrupt: they bring diverse perspectives into policymaking. But when money buys access and private interests dictate public policy, behind closed doors, they may be a legalised form of corruption.
Pro-Israel lobby, AIPAC, is changing its strategy, ending candidate endorsements and direct campaign contributions. As Democrats distance themselves from the group, is its influence fading or simply changing? Al Jazeera's Zeena Aqel breaks it down.

Hasan Piker: “Trans people are 1% of the population. They shouldn’t be talked about endlessly. Muslims are 1% of the population. They shouldn’t be talked about endlessly. It’s not a Guatemalan migrant that made your housing more expensive. It’s your landlord, it’s hedge funds buying out all of these homes and rising up their prices. A transgender person is not the reason your energy costs are skyrocketing. It’s the wars we’re waging, the data centers sucking up the energy needs. This is just the truth”

Students are campaigning for a ballot measure in Culver City, California, which would lower the voting age for local and school board elections from 18 to 16, allowing teenagers to participate in the decision-making process on many issues that affect them.truthout.org/articles/studen…

I find it interesting how people will casually describe the average MAGA supporter as a racist or fascist, yet when you look at people like Contrapoints and Matt Yglesias, you encounter something arguably more revealing: the banality of evil. People seem to imagine fascism exclusively as a movement of fanatical ideologues, rather than something that can be normalized, administered, and legitimized by otherwise respectable intellectuals and bureaucrats.
I thought Trump 2 was gonna be way worse. Every day now I wake up with a euphoric sense of relief

I think Bill Hicks was right when he said that celebrities who do commercials should be "off the artistic roll call forever" - and back then he was only talking about Jay Leno shilling for Doritos, not every modern celeb promoting the Life-Ruining App teapawt.net/Variety/status/2113656…
Shane Gillis and Danny McBride play feuding weathermen in a new four-minute Kalshi ad. “In the past year I’ve made some questionable trades on contracts for local weather, Costco hot dog prices and cricket,” McBride said in a statement. “Working with Kalshi to make this very unique ad was a great way to both make amends on some of my questionable predictions, but also get to work with Shane, and reunite with my good pal, Deep Roy.” variety.com/2026/tv/news/sha…
