As an unmarried woman in your 30s, make sure you have something going on in your life. Have a decent job or business, live in a well-furnished apartment, look good, dress well, take care of yourself and have savings. Being unmarried does not mean you should put your life on hold while waiting for a husband.
A man who meets you in your 30s and discovers that you have nothing going on in your life may have serious questions. What exactly have you been doing all these years? Being in your 30s without any tangible progress, direction or something you are building is an unfair position to put yourself in.
You shouldn't just be sitting around hoping to find a husband, get married and have a man come and set you up financially. Marriage should be an addition to a life you are already building, not your entire plan for the future. There is nothing wrong with wanting a husband, but there is everything wrong with making marriage your only plan for your life.
