Searching your son’s bag is what’s more concerning. It could be many things. His reluctance to discuss makes me wonder if this is GHB. Context matters: recreational use and harmful intent are very different. It seems like he doesn’t feel comfortable talking about it with you.

Haha… doesn’t matter the direction of the skates at some random point. He was rushing towards the net, without caution, rammed the goalie, and was fined. It is a regular, usual , and predictable call. Period. Get over it. I’m not going to argue any more with an anonymous account
NHL is always on the cautious side. The fact that the player was fined proves you wrong.
Of course, a defender will not simply let an opponent skate freely to the net. But that does not excuse recklessly driving to the net without any caution.
