‘Killed seeking aid.’
When did the world just sit back and let an increasingly rogue government do this to a civilian population, day after day?

Increasingly obvious that Brexit’s been a dismal failure & harmed the country. I was happy to honour the referendum result despite voting Remain, and wanted it to work as Brexiters promised us it would, but it hasn’t. Time for another vote? Or do we just carry on self-harming?
Feeling Bregret?
You're not alone.
More than 60 percent of Britons now consider Brexit to have been more of a failure than a success, a new YouGov poll has found.

It was on Monday that I explained why the government & right-wing, pro-Brexit media would be ramping up refugee hatred to repugnant & unprecedented levels. For fairly obvious reasons. I confess I didn’t think it would move this far this fast. But here we are.

On 50th anniversary of one of NI's worst atrocities, Doug Beattie shows real leadership & reaches across the divide to speak of the great wrong of Bloody Sunday: "The events of 50yrs ago today were unjustified . . . we should not be afraid to admit what was wrong."
We all hurt the same, we all grieve the same & the pain of the past is not always washed away with time.
The events of 50yrs ago today were unjustified.
By showing compassion & empathy, with the aim of healing, we should not be afraid to admit what was wrong.

The #BrexitDeal is the worst of all worlds. Stripping out the good bits of EU membership (single market) and adding in lots of bad bits like third country listed status. It’s literally taking back control of the things we never lost, to lose control of the things we always had.
