😪 we will try again, the community was barely interested in node setup up. For what it’s worth… the “drama” was slightly helpful in starting to educate folks.

Remembering how much work it was to build this hybrid piece. Building things with your hands and exploring new ideas and problem solving obstacles etc is what really makes me feel proud of a new piece.
I often forget to sit with the joy of a sale or a piece of work or project that i made. Usually too busy trying to figure out what’s next. But man… this piece opened up my mind and took forever to fully build it (with some help from a few friends). Very proud that this piece went to a home that truly appreciates it. Shout out to Plan X Gallery for making that happen. Cc: @_mp9x @ArtBasel
Water has been out in Pacific Palisades since 4am. Families across the area still have no water this afternoon. @MayorOfLA @CAgovernor what’s the status and when will service be restored? @DWP

Effective Immediately, all organizations using PHP for their systems are advised to be prepared for an update addressing two critical vulnerabilities. PHP is widely used for web applications. These vulnerabilities often provide a direct path to the server's file system or database. If an immediate update is not feasible, it is recommend that organizations take the system offline until it can be fully mitigated. NSA will follow up shortly with more specific guidance.
I loved @KylieJenner in the miracle bra.
That was the most intelligent move I’ve seen from the brand.

Here is an older digital work mine that emerged from thinking through the fantasy of the flying car 🧐:
“Epochs > Highways” - 2022
The piece stages a golden apple suspended inside a refrigerator, rendered across animated GIFs and pencil-and-pixel paint drawings. In the apple’s reflection, the artist (me) appears briefly, partially, and set in motion. I was interested in the collision of biblical and classical desire with the most banal of domestic architectures (the fridge ) as both archival chamber and failed utopia and in how the promise of radical mobility is continually reabsorbed into the slow violence of the everyday. The title gestures toward a preference for historical rupture over the linear logic of the highway, even as the work itself remains caught between those two temporalities.
I’ve been using the @Meta glasses for a few months now, and the privacy concerns people have about constant recording or live streaming are overblown relative to what the hardware can actually do… 😂. The live feed and video quality are
pretty rough!!! noticeably blurry and low-res. So personally I’m not really worried because these things are severely constrained by their tiny form factor. There’s just not enough room for meaningful compute or battery. they need a substantial jump in processor performance and more advanced chip technology before the live experience gets close to usable. My newborn has better vision than these things.. I do love the neural band that tech is really something 👀👀👀. @finkd
