Maybe I’m just getting old, but completely discontinuing all physical media is unfortunate. I hope @NintendoAmerica does not follow this path.

Digital purchases are licenses, not ownership. Sony can revoke access. This raises concerns about long-term ownership, game preservation, resale, lending, and reliance on servers/stores “The Software is licensed to you, not sold...” → playstation.com/en-us/legal/so…

The devil is in the details nested inside of “true” and “history’ and “God’s Word” and “absolute” and “authority”. I guess basically the whole sentence.
If people don’t accept Genesis as true history, then they won’t accept God’s Word as the absolute authority.

Where did all of this fundamentalist individualism come from? Here’s one key spot: Protestant Christianity
this didn't "happen", we caused it first, children disappeared from daily life most women turn 30 without ever holding a baby (they don't have siblings or cousins, and young babies have been removed from shared spaces), never changed a diaper or watched one up close. you cant want what you've never seen second, we killed the single income. the average family needs both parents working just to get to the end of the month, so raising a family well went from hard to something practically impossible (2-3 months of maternity leave should be considered a crime against humanity). then schools and media, the whole cathedral, all pushed towards the same direction in a systematic brainwashing effort: pushing every girl at the career, motherhood turned into that despicable thing you settle for when the better options run out, "a smaller life". nothing worth desiring, and if you do you must be ostracised social media just finished the job. presented childfree as freedom and ideal life, filmed the worst four seconds of a mothers day and called it a warning or "here's motherhood" and underneath all of it, we removed people from history no ancestors you owe anything, no descendants you're building for, just one atomic self detached from any sense of continuity. one life with no purpose other than its own selfish goals especially for western people who have been taught that their ancestors are the most evil humans who ever existed someone with no past and no future has no reason to see themselves as part of history, and everything they do revolves around their own pleasure why would you carry something you were raised to be ashamed of? so a quarter of women raised in captivity selecting for civilizational suicide becomes inevitable the idea that this was a conscious choice is delusional. we are the first species in history to get everything it ever wanted: safety, medicine, abundance, ninety good years, and the result is suicide. everything else alive still manages to reproduce through famine and plagues. we got paradise and stopped anyone shutting off their own survival drive with no threat in sight is definitionally suicidal and that's where we are now

This fully makes sense. I’ve peered into the existential darkness. It doesn’t really get you anywhere “positive”. I mean, it depends on what “positive” is, which we epistemically can’t know… see what I mean?
you need to be delusionally optimistic negative thinking poisons your brain and leads to congitive decline whereas positive thinking, and gaslighting yourself into thinking everything is amazing, ACTUALLY makes your life amazing too. you must be a silly goose

Global life expectancy: 1900: 32 years. 2025: 73 years.   We doubled human lifespan in 125 years.   The most underrated stat in history.

Salvation is by grace alone plus works alone by Jesus alone through faith alone via scripture alone for God alone. Amen.
We go to Heaven not based on our works, but on the works of Another.

It’s also worth noting that people are happier when they have religion and money.
Poor Americans who attend church regularly are happier than rich Americans who never go. Behavioral scientist William von Hippel thought he'd made a coding error. He hadn't. "Regularly attending services has a bigger impact on your happiness than wealth," he writes. "Money buys a fair bit of happiness but connection gives you more bang for the buck." What's happening? Rich people already have most of what money buys. What they lack is what churches provide for free: weekly, repeated contact with people who know your name. Von Hippel is direct about the cost: "I suspect that wealthy, educated urbanites are paying a steeper price for their lifestyle than they realize. Many of us have paid too great a price in connection for our increased autonomy."

God’s heart is torn apart by wars, violence, injustice and lies. But our Father’s heart is not with the wicked, the arrogant, or the proud. God’s heart is with the little ones and the humble, and with them He builds up His Kingdom of love and peace day by day. Wherever there is love and service, God is there. #ApostolicJourney #Algeria

I’ve never read something that so deeply reflects internal thoughts I have daily. I question my competence constantly because of this type of experience. You do your best. Check off every box you can think of. Miss one key one. Undermines everything. It’s a painful cycle that makes you want to quit trying.
I think I need to be fired. I've done 232 dry sauna sessions. Last week I confirmed, for the first time (by swallowing a pill), whether the core temperature threshold that gates the primary cellular repair mechanism was actually being reached in my protocol. The threshold is 102.2°F (39.0°C). For me, that takes 33 min at 195°F. With ice on face and neck, 38min. My standard daily protocol was 20 minutes. That wasn’t enough time to get my core body temp to the heat shock threshold of 102.2°F (39.0°C). Causing me to ask, did I just waste 77 hours and 20 min? It's possible my heat threshold has increased and the heat shock protein release was happening previously, but I doubt it based upon the subjective feeling I now understand as being 102.2F (39.0°C). It’s brutal. For these 232 sessions, I measured the temperature of the air, humidity, duration, frequency, the sweat output, blood biomarkers, vascular response, toxin clearance and fertility markers. There is no human body in history that has been more measured in sauna than mine. Nevertheless, I did not confirm the one number that determines whether the primary mechanism was activating. My goal wasn't to be a sauna bro. It was to saunamaxx. I was doing the former while thinking I was doing the latter. I rest my case. I should probably be fired.

Perspectival Relativity working here. If he makes room for that evidence, it means his core axioms have shifted, which reverberates through the entirety of his perspective of reality.
The strongest case against me is that I've built an identity around not dying so completely that I can no longer evaluate evidence that dying might be acceptable. If survival is the only framework, I have no way to test whether survival is worth it.
