Ok, so it looks like the FB post I shared and subsequently deleted yesterday WAS legit.
The migrant hotel in Crewe IS being closed due to the premises being used for alleged CSA offences.
When I looked at the Cheshire Police notifications I could only see something from April this year saying it was being closed due to โan unacceptable number of incidents of crime and disorder at the hotel and its immediate vicinity."
As it didnโt mention sexual offences and there was nothing reported by them I assumed the screenshot was fake and deleted the post.
However it appears that after being closed and then reopened after a few months, that itโs now being closed again.
Just goes to show that these days you need to fact check a couple of times because of selective announcements made by police and media can be misleading.
