When I am asked my number one piece of advice for an administrator, it is simply to take care of your staff. A culture of care, support, appreciation, and encouragement is a culture when everyone can thrive. The teacher's work environment is the student's learning environment.

Extraversion is not a prerequisite for leadership.
It doesn't matter how outgoing people are. What counts is how well they communicate and how committed they are to serving.
The people to promote are the ones with the skill—and the will—to elevate the group above themselves.
This is very true! Showing people who you are - who you really are - makes all the difference! We are human! #weleadtx #beyourself

In 20 years, the only people who will remember you worked 60 -80 hours a week will be your family.
I am loving reading The Good Enough Job by @SimoneStolzoff! I’ve been on a journey since my brother died two years ago focusing on work/life balance & not putting work as #1. I have highlighted a ton - so much goodness in it! #WorkLifeBalance #selfcare #familyfirst
