Apparently Eby does not read his own budget. Last year deficit $7.7b, this years now $13.8b and climbing. If this is what he thinks is a year over year decrease, I would hate to see what he considers an increase 🤦♂️
Asked by @wolfgangdepner today if the NDP could reduce the deficit w/out economic growth & tax increases, @Dave_Eby said spending will need to rise on health & education but that a @bcndp govt would also decrease the deficit "year-over-year."
