Approximately 5.1% of the labor force is currently working in tech, and if that percentage is applied to the employed Indigenous population, it should mean 29,682 Indigenous people are working in tech.
Unfortunately, Indigenous talent working in ICT is only 1.2%.

Never expected to say this, but #IStandWithCanadianDemocracy & #IStandWithCanadianCivilSociety. So if I have to say it to join other Canadians against the ugly-minded thugs & fools infesting our national capital with their trucks & filthy smears, then I will: #IStandWithTrudeau.

When you give someone an opportunity, think about them, their family, their friends, their community.
Think about the people who find out about their effort and how it paid off and decide to fight that fight.
Think about the big impact that just one "small" help can have.

If we're heading into level 3 and you feel the need to hoard supplies, make sure to hoard beer from @TheCapLive, coffee beans from @urbanalmanac and take out from @11thmile_yfc. Perhaps something to read from @westminsterbks. My York Street friends will need your support. SIGH.

Saskatchewan says it plans to reduce its backlog of surgeries by privatizing certain procedures, remaining publicly funded. The goal is to eliminate the backlog by achieving a 3-month wait time by 2030.
If it can work there, why not here in NB? #nbpoli nationalnewswatch.com/2021/1…

"Doing the right thing is always good business" apt words from the wonderful @FKParsons at today's @WorkforceFWD conference. Company-wide reconciliation and the inclusion of Indigenous people in *all* aspects of an organization should be the goal. #WorkforceForward
