Why 'Enough' Is Everything
1. Know your 'enough'. more stuff doesn’t = more joy.
2. Contentment > chasing wealth. Gain time & freedom.
3. Own your choices. Stop blaming & start living.

I'm not someone who'll say 'I don't let MS stop me from doing xyz'. MS stops me all the time. Not because I'm not trying hard enough, but because MS is brutal. Not gonna stop trying though. #thisisms

I'll be playing dot-to-dot with my MRI scans positivewithms.com/ill-be-pl… I think all my missing thoughts & words have developed an endless vortex in my brain. I know I frustrate people with my long pauses, lack of complex vocabulary & attempts to play games of charades...

The unpredictable life with multiple sclerosis positivewithms.com/the-unpre… I can no more predict the weather than I can predict how multiple sclerosis is going to behave for the day. One day I may wake up ready to tackle what comes my way. The next day I find myself unable to move.

Hot take: these initiatives are almost exclusively for HSE admin staff. Would wager you’d not find a single Doctor/Nurse/AHP/Lab staff offered/partaking in any well-being initiative. Glad someone in HR can enjoy some yoga and a pedometer though while I do two 24h shifts a week – at South Tipperary, Ireland
Hmmm.
Not true.

Meet Ireland’s LGBT Families 🏳️🌈
One of our volunteers Michaella talked to us about her thoughts on starting a family in Ireland: “We don’t know yet where we might have our children, but being honest the legal situation here for couples like us means Ireland isn’t a great option”

What’s disgusting is attitudes like that male colleague had.
This kick-ass surgeon returned to work & struggled to find time to express breastmilk. Directors agreed she could operate whilst pumping, to allow her to do both things. A male colleague decided it was 'disgusting'.
Dude, you're a fucking doctor!
