it's genuinely a work of art, and it's simultaneously made my jealous and regretful for not having adopted this approach myself and very proud to have them in our ecosystem.

then the data stored in ram is potentially wrong. each wire represents a piece of data, and the ram takes a snapshot of the data on those wires on a timer. so if the value hasnt arrived when it takes the snapshot, then it could be wrong. i'm using uncertain words because the wire values can only be 0 or 1, so if the wire was 1 in the previous snapshot, and it doesn't need to change for the current snapshot, it might accidentally be correct this time. but you dont want to gamble on your data being accidentally correct every time.

the entire tax software industry is an extractive middle management cabal that protects each other. Awaken has been amazing since day one and it keeps getting better. you should use it. and you should fire tax advisors that refuse it.
Tax industry has some gross people. Some advisors say Awaken reports aren鈥檛 accepted and you have to use CoinTracking. So that they can charge you huge fees to use it for you. Bc the product is unusable by consumers. Down with that 馃搲

i thought the whole point of solana was to get your bags and get out. looks like we're at the Get Out phase.
Solana is probably going to experience a black swan now that its security through obscurity approach no longer works. Normalizing complete lack of code transparency was never a good idea.

i really want to like Liquid models. i'll take them for a spin, maybe tune a couple, but the license requirements really put a damper on using it for anything that might scale
Introducing 饾櫥饾櫟饾櫦饾煿: our new generation of Liquid Foundation Models. With a new tri-hybrid architecture and new multimodal encoders, the LFM3 family is the ideal model suite for specialized intelligence. > 6 model instances, across text, audio, vision, and omni modalities, generative and decision models. > 饾櫥饾櫟饾櫦饾煿-饾煼.饾熃饾櫛: text, 256k context window. > 饾櫥饾櫟饾櫦饾煿-饾殔饾櫥-饾煾饾櫛: vision-language model with video-input support for spatial understanding > 饾櫥饾櫟饾櫦饾煿-饾櫚饾殲饾殟饾殥饾殬-饾煾饾櫛: tool calls, voice chat, reasoning in 18 languages. > 饾櫥饾櫟饾櫦饾煿-饾櫨饾殩饾殫饾殥-饾煾饾櫛: an omni model combines vision, audio, and language. > 饾殟饾煼-饾煾饾櫛 and 饾殟饾煼-饾櫨饾殩饾殫饾殥-饾煾饾櫛: decision models with typed outputs and calibrated probabilities in a single pass. people really want to hate ai. sorry the shitty early access game you've been working on for 2 years is worse than 6 weeks of using better tools. enjoy your increasingly irrelevant corner of the world.

they are attempting to add more ram to a system. the old chips were removed, and they've connected wires to an external set of chips. ram is fast. really fast. the electrical signal travel times are measures in nanonseconds. 1ns can generally travel 6-9 inches on copper. ram needs the signals to arrive very near the same time, consistently, across every parallel wire. pcbs go to great lengths to make sure this happens. handcut and handsoldered wires dont have the same precision. so this person made the timing less precise by doing this, and they also added actual travel distance, which makes the error margins much smaller. it's unlikely to work, but it's possible. then there's the sheer persistence of this; they had to cut and solder every piece of wire here. ddr5 is 288 pins, so that's 288 individual wires they cut and soldered on both ends. impressive effort.

I'm not going to migrate just because one is actively maintained and one is not. I don't need any new features, and gitea works well with outline and infisical, so no reason for me to create unnecessary work.
