An 18-year-old was running to catch a city bus when he stumbled directly into the path of its massive rear wheel.
The bus rolled forward, trapping him underneath it. By the time the driver stopped, the teenager was pinned to the pavement.
A woman screamed for help. Passengers rushed off the bus, strangers came running, and a crowd gathered around him.
But the bus weighed more than 16 tons. And the only way to free him was to somehow lift it.
It happened in Berlin, Germany. Several men tried lifting the bus, but they needed help. Others nearby saw what was happening and rushed over.
Nearly 40 people pushed together, slowly raising the massive bus just enough to pull the teenager free.
Nearby medical workers rushed outside and treated him before he was taken to the hospital for surgery.
Then his damaged phone rang. The name on the screen was āMama.ā A doctor answered and reassured his mother that her son was alive.
The Internet is full of negative news these days, itās time we share something positive.

š¬š§ BREXIT WAS SUPPOSED TO DESTROY BRITAIN. EVEN THE FRENCH DATA TELLS A DIFFERENT STORY.
For years, we were told leaving the EU would be an economic catastrophe.
Now, research from Franceās respected OFCE economic institute has delivered an uncomfortable finding for the doom-mongers.
š¬š§ Britainās economic growth between 2015 and 2025 broadly matched the Eurozone.
š¬š§ Britain outperformed both France and Germany.
š¬š§ British productivity showed no clear post-Brexit collapse.
š¬š§ The predicted 15% decline in trade intensity has not materialised.
The researchers acknowledge economic costs and challenges. But the apocalyptic predictions? They simply havenāt come to pass.
And this assessment comes from France, not a British pro-Brexit campaign.
Perhaps itās time Westminster stopped treating Brexit as the problem and started making the most of the independence the British people voted for.
The British people made their choice. Now deliver on it. š¬š§

Iām joining Royal Roadās Writathon.
The goal is simple: write a lot, stay ahead, and use that momentum to push The Shattered Strands toward daily releases, or as close to daily as I can manage.
For readers, that also means more chapters hitting Royal Road for free.
This may be a terrible idea. Letās find out.

A question for the teachers.
Now that the schools are back is there anything you've noticed about reading habits that's changed over the summer?
Has there been any new books that have grabbed the attention of your kids?

āDeath Fall had me hooked from the very first page. Emilyās journey is raw, powerful, and deeply movingāa testament to resilience in the face of buried secrets and lasting scars. H.E. Joyce delivers a masterfully crafted narrative full of tension, heartbreak, and unexpected twists that keep you guessing until the end. The characters feel authentic, the settings are vividly drawn, and the emotional depth makes this a story that lingers long after youāve finished. If youāre looking for a compelling blend of drama, mystery, and human courage, Death Fall is a must-read. I couldnāt put it down!ā
