🇨🇻 ❤️ Cape Verde have become the biggest surprise of the 2026 World Cup — and won hearts around the globe.
The island nation, roughly the size of Mallorca with a population of just 520,000, reached the knockout stage in their World Cup debut without losing a single match in regular time.
They even pushed defending champions Argentina to the brink, conceding the decisive goal only in the 111th minute.
After the match, 40-year-old goalkeeper Vozinha became the world's most-followed goalkeeper, with his social media following skyrocketing from 56,000 to nearly 21 million.
"We're small. But our hearts are big, and we're fighters."

🇨🇻 Cape Verde lost 3–2 to Argentina in extra time… in their first-ever World Cup.
A nation of just half a million people stood inches away from defeating FIFA's GOAT.
This Cape Verde player's reaction says everything.

The Up GTI weighs about as much as the original 1976 Mk1 Golf GTI and makes almost identical power - 115 PS from a 1.0L turbocharged three-cylinder, in a body the size of a city car.
It is a genuinely strange thing to exist in 2018, a hot hatch built on the smallest, cheapest platform VW makes, with a six-speed manual and a chassis tuned specifically to be thrown around.
On The Grand Tour, the Up GTI went around the Eboladrome test track faster than the Countach and the Testarossa.
Whatever the exact comparison, the point stands: a city car with 115 PS embarrassed cars costing many multiples of its price simply through being light, direct, and uncomplicated.
Rare not because few were built, but because nothing else like it exists today.

I was in an airport restroom when a man knocked and said, “Dad with a 4 year old coming in!” He sounded mortified. He kept his back to everyone, stared at the ceiling like it personally offended him, and speed-walked his daughter into a stall.
A woman whispered, “Unbelievable.”
What’s unbelievable is expecting a preschooler to brave the men’s restroom alone in a crowded airport. He did the respectful thing: he warned us, kept it brief, and focused on his child.
Sometimes the safest choice isn’t the most traditional one.

TJ Cars ltd are the sort of bullshitters that give the motor trade a bad name.

Pretty amazing on an auto with a chain driven engine. You clueless bunch of lying shit bags.

Ok a Transit van in this instance.
A 1989 Ford Transit used as a development mule for the Jaguar XJ220.
Originally a standard support van, it was taken to TWR and repurposed to test the XJ220’s twin-turbo 3.5-litre JV6 V6.
Power went through a five-speed manual and limited-slip differential, turning an ordinary Transit into something completely unexpected.
Later bought by Don Law Racing, the van was further upgraded with suspension and wheel changes, with engine output increased to around 640bhp.
Performance was said to be in the region of 170mph with a 0–60 time of roughly five seconds.
