You've hit the nail on the head Iqbal, and we need to look no further than the #ExcludedUK scandal. As highlighted on Budget Day, after years of pledges from @AndyBurnham, now he's cosy as @UKLabour PM the radio silence is deafening. Where's the promised restitution @nazirafzal
Brilliant questioning by @TVNaga01 of Business Minister highlighting the plight of the self employed & the #ExcludedUK who have received nothing whilst not being able to work Worse, the Minister fails to appreciate that

🚨EXCLUDEDUK... ON THE MAP!!!🚨 A quick media heads-up for Wednesday 28 October, Budget Day. ExcludedUK has booked a digital video and audio advertising van which will be driving around Parliament Square and Westminster from 9am to 5pm, broadcasting campaign material throughout the day. The van will feature: • video clips of Andy Burnham speaking publicly about ExcludedUK and the injustice faced by those excluded from meaningful Covid-19 financial support • testimony from ExcludedUK members about the continuing financial, personal and mental health consequences of exclusion • ExcludedUK campaign messaging and calls for recognition, accountability and redress Our most prolific campaigner, Tim Pravda, also known as @ExcludedFighter, will be around Parliament Square throughout the day, together with other ExcludedUK members, and will be available to speak to journalists and broadcasters. So, if you or any of your colleagues are in Westminster covering the Budget, please keep an eye out for the van and for Tim and our members. We would be very grateful if you could also flag this with your political, Westminster, economics or newsdesk colleagues. After more than six years, the 3.8 million taxpayers who were excluded from meaningful Covid-19 financial support are still campaigning to be heard. If you would like interviews, background information, member case studies, video footage or briefing material in advance, please contact me. Can’t even tell you how angry this makes me. We are talking about people’s lives!!! @AlokSharma_RDG @AndyBurnhamGM @GMB #ExcludedUK
1. A smirk is the only response the Business Secretary could muster when I asked him to fix the injustice facing millions of people who have not qualified for financial support since March. @ExcludedUK @ForgottenLtd @ForgottenPAYE @AndyBurnhamGM @MetroMayorSteve

A doctor rapes a patient. The victim reports it. THE DOCTOR ADMITS IT. He tells a hospital committee that it was a "one off" and he will not do it again. THE MANAGEMENT SAYS THAT IS OK. And allow him to carry on working. THE POLICE TAKE NO ACTION. The hospital concerned is the BLACKPOOL VICTORIA HOSPITAL. The same hospital where a 75 year old patient was raped to death and no one was ever convicted for it. Are women worth nothing to the NHS? bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c172…

York cobblestones. 2006 vs 2026. Well maintained in 2006. Can’t be arsed to maintain properly and just plaster with tarmac patches in 2026. British civic pride decay in a nutshell.

Trump and the GOP have been working hard to keep this video from being reposted over social media. Repost it, keep it alive. Too many people aren't paying attention to who Donald Trump is. He's a liar and by his own words, he must be held accountable.🤥

Beware @Expedia ! Booked a long weekend in Copenhagen with @Expedia to find at the airport I can only take an underseat bag and not a carry-on. The airline said loads of people have been caught out. Sharp practice from @expedia. Last time I use them!

Richard Morrison in @thetimes today: "300,000 people attended the 86 concerts of this summer’s BBC Proms. But one conspicuous absentee was Lisa Nandy. She has been culture secretary through three Proms seasons and hasn’t attended a single one of the 250 concerts in that time."

I am genuinely disgusted by @BBCNews so extensively platforming the 'plans' of a tiny party whose policies are cruel and irrational, whose costings are unattainable fantasies and whose leader, deputy and donations are under multiple investigations.

Who else is fed up with #r4today leading their news headlines with what ReformUK might do if elected? Yesterday. Today. Tomorrow? Why does @BBCr4today not also lead with what Lib Dems might do, Tories, SNP or Greens ? Hmm? @BBCNews needs serious rethink. @BBCR4Feedback

Please retweet ANIMAL CRUELTY CONVICTION: KIMBERLEY RICHARDS‑MILLER, 38, FROM #BONYMAEN, #SWANSEA SA1 #WALES #UK – LIFETIME BAN AFTER DALMATIAN STARVED TO DEATH AVOIDS JAIL ‼️‼️‼️ Darcy, a one‑year‑old Dalmatian, died weighing just 7.1kg — around a third of a healthy dog’s weight. Her owner, Swansea mother-of-two Kimberley Richards‑Miller, has been banned from keeping animals for life after admitting causing unnecessary suffering. Darcy’s emaciated body was taken to a vet on 14 November, scoring 1/9 on the body condition scale. The court heard Richards‑Miller had been told several times to seek veterinary help in the weeks before Darcy died — but never did. A post‑mortem revealed: • Severe loss of fat and muscle throughout her body • Almost no gut contents • Stress‑ and hypothermia‑related stomach ulceration seen in starvation cases • No underlying illness — meaning Darcy’s condition was caused solely by not being fed Vets said an adult Dalmatian dropping from 20kg to 7kg would take around five months on water alone. For a young, growing dog like Darcy, starvation would have taken months, with suffering every single day. Richards‑Miller received: • Lifetime ban on keeping animals • 12‑month custodial sentence (suspended for 18 months) • 25 rehabilitation days • 150 hours unpaid work • £400 costs + £187 surcharge Inspector Keith Hogben said: “It is heartbreaking to imagine what Darcy went through. All animals deserve kindness. Anyone struggling must seek help.” This is one of several shocking cruelty cases across South Wales this summer — but Darcy’s is the only one resulting in a lifetime ban. 💔 Darcy suffered for months. Her death must not be forgotten. These are Shakila Ghasemi, 26, Mahdieh Yousefi, 19, and Diana Taherabadi, 16. They have been held captive by the Islamic regime in complete isolation and subjected to severe torture for nearly six months. Their lives remain in immediate danger. No headlines. No protests. No rights. The world remains silent.

Every morning I write about someone Iran just executed, within minutes, a message arrives a mother, a sister, a friend, begging me to write about their loved one who is on the death row. Before it's too late. This is why I want to write before the execution of this young woman, not after. Arghavan Fallahi. 24 years old. Evin Prison. Sentenced to death. Judge Salavati one of Iran's most notorious hanging judges, sentenced her under "Baghi," armed rebellion. During months in solitary confinement, she was subjected to severe psychological torture and pressure to make forced confessions. But she refused. So they sentenced her to death anyway. Fellow female prisoners who were with Arghavan inside Evin say her situation is urgent. The torture has left her with severe psychological trauma and physical illness. She is not just facing the death sentence, she is suffering right now, inside that cell. But is still alive and is still time to save her life. Please join me and help us Iranians to say her name now and demand international community and the leader leaders of the world to put pressure on these that republic to stop them from executing her and other political prisoners. #StopExecutionsInIran
