Met a mythical figure, friends neighbor at the lake, "Stinky Dave". Approached us with his hands up (we had guns on our packs) and then shoved himself against his car like he was being arrested. Told us his wife just left him (again) and then asked if we wanted some weed.

Studie vom Ifo Institut 2024. Durch Mwhrverdienst schmelzen die Transferleistungen weg, so dass es teils sogar zu leichtem Einkommensverlust kommen kann. Mehrarbeit im Bereich 2500 bis 5500 lohnt nicht wirklich.

Woke up the day after this and my listening comprehension felt like it had gone overnight from 70-80 to 95%. No second date but tbh that level of skill boost to my German might be worth more

I've been learning German for ~8mo (+3 months half-assed Anki+online course) and was able to have a 3 hour Convo using maybe 3 english sentences. Feel quite happy about this.
