Dude is selling a 99/month service 🤣🤡
Paying $99/month was getting a little too expensive... So I built my own open source alternative that now costs me LESS THAN $1/month to run. YES, 99x CHEAPER! 🤯 Introducing Open Post, an open source alternative to Post Bridge that lets you post to all your social media accounts from one dashboard. I'll be open sourcing it on GitHub this coming week once I finish testing each social media integration. And just to be clear... This isn't about taking business away from an existing SaaS. I simply wanted to build something cheaper for myself that does the exact same thing. If you want a ready-to-use solution and don't mind paying $40-$100/month, definitely check out the original SaaS! But if you prefer self-hosting and saving money, Open Post is coming soon for free. 🚀

tried to publish the first app of a new org on iOS Apple rejected it asking to reply to the review with some extra details - and so I did My understanding is I just wait for their response, no resubmission is needed, right?

met a guy who prefers to keep around a loss-making B2C/"B2B" SaaS product (with 2 customers) because they have a high floor asking price he doesn't work on the product at all, it's just there rotting, and he prefers to not exit at all with a reasonable amount 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Ambition is the main issue. Seems that a huge chunk of people is stuck building websites and php plugins for obsolete systems

I was the buyer in this specific case. But yeah, a financial transaction is mostly about the numbers.

openstatus is amazing, but 30 EUR/month for having two monitors is a bit absurd. is there anything else out there more reasonably priced? No I won't vibe-code it or self-host it

micro-SaaS acquisitions have a huge problem at hand founders with numbers that don't make sense x100+ asking prices with revenue that's just not there and steeply declining PLG churn not being taken into account, LTV at all-time-low but asking prices anchoring too high acquirers making only low-ball offers because "they can replace that with AI in 2 days" both sides seem like they miss the big picture: experts think the economy might have a big shakedown fairly soon on whichever side you find yourself in, touch some grass
